Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was a good session but it was freezing! Clip and climb did get busy but the first half an hour of the 9am session was ok

Fabulous time at VRVE exeter. Host Jez was brilliant, prompt start, quickly went through tutorials, recommended games and challenges for us to do multiplayer. Maximised playing time and we all had great fun. I would recommend asking the host to take some photos/ videos whilst the group is playing!

Very friendly , knowledgeable and helpful staff. Wide variety of board games. Good choice and quality of snacks. Very enjoyable 3 hours of fun for family on a wet Sunday afternoon. Do check on car parking as warden had a very profitable time booking cars parking in poorly defined bus stop outside cafe.

Our Son and Daughter-in-law gave us this as a present for our 63rd. wedding anniversary. We were absolutely enthralled, Matt was so welcoming and made us feel at home in the cockpit. We really felt as if we were actually flying the 737 aeroplane, it was so lifelike. We flew around Torbay and then a trip out of Innsbruck, which was absolutely incredible, we were in the mountains and it was snowing!!!

We held our Son’s 9th birthday party at Brick and Mix. The party is held when the shop closes. Everyone had a fantastic time!

Darren hosted the party, he set the kids different tasks to participate in throughout the evening. The children got to take home some of the Lego that they built.
The shop run daily play sessions and sell all sorts of Lego sets and merchandise which is a good price.

Thank you for a lovely evening. Would recommend it if you are a Lego fanatic.

Had my first experience of paint balling here for my partners birthday. The staff were friendly, the games were easy to understand for a first-timer and we had a really great time.

Booking was super easy and communication about the day was very good. I told family members how much we spent on the outing and this seemed in-line with other paintball centres in the country. We were with a stag group but did not feel that this impacted on our experience as the teams were split fairly and everyone had a good laugh with the instructors.

The only thing we could fault was that the wait between games was far too long. I understand they must cater to all fitness levels and have breaks to reload the guns etc but towards the end it felt we were spending more time waiting around than playing. We would have gladly spent more on extra paintball to have a whole other game in that break period, or would have at least preferred the games in quicker succession.

Despite this small gripe we would definitely return and also would like to try airsoft too at this venue.

I’ve been coming with my one year old for a couple of months now and she loves it, it’s perfect for small children with lots to play on. The food is nice and well priced and lots of it. My only qualm is the cleanliness, today it felt really grubby, all the menus were filthy, tables were left with dirty plates for some time, the floor was full of crumbs everywhere and the play equipment is quite dirty. Could do with a good deep clean.

Booked to go to IPlay with my 4 year old grandson, hadn’t been before so had no idea the parking was so limited. When we arrived today, there were 5/6 car in front trying to park. IPlay is located on an industrial estate so if you can’t park on site it’s virtually impossible to park elsewhere, luckily I have a mini and managed to squash on the end of a road, most places on the road are full with people working on marsh Barton, anywhere else is double yellow lines. The website should state limited parking.

The play area itself is ok, not the best we’ve been too, a little limited to be honest, drinks priced ok.

Probably won’t visit again due to the parking and not great variety of soft play. Wasn’t the most exciting place even for a 4 year old.
