The tour was great and super value for money. Pippa the tour guide was knowledgeable with a great delivery of information.

Half term and raining as always, this venue is a great way to spend a few hours out with family in the dry, and educational.
The Aquarium is well run, organised and clean, the huge tanks are exceptionally well stocked with any marine life you can think of, and cleaned daily it seems by divers, who you can watch if you time it Correctly.
You need to book a date and time online, it gets busy quickly.
My only complaint is not with the aquarium, but the awful, dingy and old multi story carpark it uses, it’s bad enough getting into a space, getting out is almost impossible, because of a nonsense set of traffic lights outside the carpark which only allows 3 cars at a time to get through, it took us 30 minutes to get out from the 8th floor, Plymouth council, your rubbish, sort it out.

Fantastic views of the harbourside with many small local shops inbetween the cobbled streets: afternoon tea, pasties, fish and chips, Cornish ice cream! There are also regular cruises to take you to the nearby islands that are worth doing too

My Son had a tour of the synagogue from Jerry when he was studying A-Level Philosophy and Ethics in 2016. My Son booked a tour with Jerry so that my wife and his girlfriend could experience the same tour that he did eight years ago. Jerry was as ever, personable, witty and very knowledgeable. He covered during the hour and a half tour a mixture of Plymouthian history, the history of the Synagogue itself and the buildings surrounding and the events that take place within the Synagogue and their religious significance to the Jewish People. The tour was fascinating, both engaging and amusing throughout. We intend another tour, involving my son's Grandfather whom would be particularly interested in the history of Plymouth having grown up in the 50s in Devenport. Thanks for a great tour Jerry, it was a pleasure.

Often out here with the dog. Sometimes have a snack out in the stable yard. Off it are the usual NT shop, the cafe and, in the north west corner the second hand bookshop, where there is always a healthy turnover of the large well categorised stock. Simple pricing £1 per paperback and £2 for hardbacks. Friendly helpful staff.

I've lived here over 20 years and never tire of a view that is different every day according to the time, light, and weather.
For this alone, this much-maligned city is always worth a visit.

Went to see Aladdin it was such a fantastic show. Not been to the theatre in years and this definitely will change that. All the staff were so friendly from the booking team to the staff in the theatre on the night.

Brilliant place to take the bikes and feel safe with the kids riding. The disused railway line is tarmac sealed which is popular for running, walking and cycling. We park at plymbridge woods and cycle up to yelverton, and have a meal at the rock inn and come back.
It is a slight incline going there which takes on bikes about 1:30mins and then coming back it is 55mins.

Amazing historic building with great views.
Climb is not for the feint hearted or those with vertigo, but for anyone eke it's exhilarating and well worth it.

Nice staff giving info and great displays, loved the beds - they gave a real perspective on what conditions must have been like working and living in the lighthouse.

We stayed overnight before the ferry crossing to Santander. The apartment was very clean and exceptionally comfortable. Being a bit of a bed linen connoisseur the linen was very very good which added to the restful night. After a long motorcycle tour we particularly appreciated the laundry facilities that got us ready for the next weeks travel. Not quite so easy to find the building location and the parking areas we were authorised to use and paid for at the time of booking but it was manageable although a bit time consuming. Well recommended as a base to stay and visit Plymouth and particularly if all you want is a 8 minute journey to the ferry port. Note that booking parking I would consider essential.

Absolutely superb new exhibition showing until 2 June. Amazing South Asian art and inspired art in the St Luke’s Chapel of The Box.

    Stunning..don’t miss it!

Paintings, sculptures and even aromatic art. We loved it and so lucky to have it in Plymouth and it’s free to enter.
