What travellers are saying
- Amanda M3 contributionsMy friend and I really enjoyed our tour of the cathedral with Jools our guide today :Monday 2nd December 2024.
Jools was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about sharing her love for the history of the cathedral and Norfolk .Jools inspired us to what to know more.
We particularly enjoyed Jools taking the time to show us some of the cathedral graffiti at the at end of the tour .thank you very much .Written 2 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had pre paid parking and tickets so very easy entry. I can see why the parking is charged for as the Estate is available for all to walk through and for children to play on the enormous playground. Not expensive at all given the beautiful surroundings.
The entrance to house and gardens is a short walk from the car park and then a lovely walk to the house itself. It was wonderful to visit the inside of this family home and the guides were all friendly and knowledgeable. After the house we went on a big walk around the Estate and this including visiting the stables which had a car collection. We then walked to the Chapel which is a must see inside.
After the house and gardens we walked back to the restaurant and had a delicious lunch in such a lovely setting. Afterwards we visited the shop. This whole day just felt so special and the lovely Team who are behind keeping this beautiful Estate ticking are a credit to Sandringham.Written 15 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However what an amazingly clean beach and walking area. As we were out of season, we didn’t expect anything to be open however great fish n chips, we chose to eat outside however there was inside seating available. Ice cream parlour, slots etc, open. Free car parking on the front, however slope and steps available if you wish to park at the top and see the great views. Totally unexpected, a little gem, thoroughly enjoyed itWritten 16 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Martha J3 contributionsWonderful atmosphere on Cromer Pier at Christmastime! Suitable for dogs, clean & free toilets, cafe and gift shop & an amazing theatre!! - EmmaLW26Peterborough, UK23 contributionsWe had the BEST time at BeWILDerwood presents Christmas! With so many beautiful lights and characters to see, plenty of fun photo opportunities and a wonderful pantomime at the end it was the perfect start to our Christmas celebrations!
There was also a meet and greet with Father Christmas, amazing music and a sweet treat at the end for little ones!
We all had a fantastic and magical evening, and the panto at the end was the perfect length and incredibly entertaining. Joseph was laughing throughout and Sophie was mesmerised.
There are two stops throughout the trail that give you the chance to grab a festive hot chocolate or an ice cream - both of which were very yummy! There was also hot food, desserts and picnic boxes available to buy, along with an array sweet treats, all incredibly reasonably priced.

A nice selection of treats.
Sandwiches were slightly dry, and sausage rolls were very tasty.Written 18 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However treat the coach company claims for the overnight hotels with caution, glowing reports of the resorts are to be taken with a pinch of salt, its Winter, things close for the season added to the venues sadly closed for good, plus its dark sooner and can be very cold
Been yet again to the show, think this is my third visit, just as popular as ever, different coach company , different hotel, but still in Gt Yarmouth, weather diabolical so making use of free time very restricted.
Show yet again fantastic with the addition of the outdoor light display, a serpentine walk through illuminated animals and displays that would put Blackpools showing up. If you missed this year, book now for 2025, its worth it and most coach companies will have it on their booksWritten 10 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - pubdog33Camberley, UK125 contributionsOur rental cottage said go and see the seals at Horsea, it's pupping season so off we went, and found a full on manned car park chokka with people and seal info. The board said that there were in the region of 6000 seals on the beach and 650 pups born that week. I'd expected a couple of seals mooching about on the beach, but OMG, the beach was covered along the coast as far as the eye could see!!! What a fantastic experience to see this in the UK. They come every year to pup. Some pups that looked a bit yellow had clearly just been born and evidence of this was the blood on the sand. The seals were basking on the sand and in the sea. You view them from the sand dunes above so they are safe. Car park is about £3.50 no campers allowed, - it was a great morning out.Written 10 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TrollyDollyStamford, UK45 contributionsWhat a treat. An absolutely beautiful trip through a small part of the hall leaving you with the most Christmassy feeling! The decorations were beautiful, and Mr & Mrs Clause were a delight!
The volunteers were so informative too! In fact everyone we came across from the lovely lady on the car park to the staff serving Prosecco were incredibly welcoming.
I initially baulked in the £36 entrance fee. But as a Christmas treat thought it was absolutely worth it!Written 2 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Catherine M2 contributionsAlthough we didn’t enter the house, we took the dog for a walk around the gardens and tracks. It was lovely to see the extra activities for the kids - hula hoop games, giant jenga, noughts and crosses type game etc. This wasn’t next to the restaurant either so it was a nice surprise to stumble across on our walk. We stopped off at the restaurant and ordered scones, hot drinks and ice creams (kids still want ice cream in the cold brrr). Service wasn’t the fastest, and quite pricey, but with such a small counter it’s not surprising. The restaurant itself was clean and trays were put in the rack neatly. We sat outside because of the dog and found there was a water bowl outside for him too.
Overall, an enjoyable walk and restaurant visit :)Written 24 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. With views of the paddocks from your bedroom window,it was just fabulous. Our guides, Chris & Michaela 😉 were attentive & knowledgeable & answered our endless questions which I'm sure ate into their day. The animals seem happy, healthy & relaxed, with places to hide away or show off, depending on their moods. We had the park to ourselves & enjoyed every second of it,as it is a stunning place,so good for your mental well being, better than any medicine!!! We will be back, for sure. A wonderful little place of joy,we had the best time, thank you ❤️ Mel & Tess.Written 28 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
