... great welcome, great walks on the heath and beach, good ("NT standard")food and shop, wildlife and birds to spot, assistance for the disabled (just ask!) and you can walk down the beach path to RSPB Minsmere.
A lovely National Trust site with beach and heathland walks, great for families dog walkers, bird watchers etc. Nice café on site, National Trust gift shop and plenty of information for visitors.

If you like pebble beaches this is perfect Clean and lovely surrounding of the small seaside town.
The beach is mainly stones but its quiet compared to the more trendy beaches.

I'm lucky to have visited a fair few beaches around the world in my time but this remains one of my absolute favourites.
As we walk north towards the town we had a fabulous panoramic view of Southwold, the iconic beach huts, beach and Southwold Pier reaching out into the North Sea.
