Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- abcdxyz8876London47 contributionsIt's quite charming and has a massive range of stuff.
Massive nostalgia value although it feels like the collected possessions of 500 grandparents who have shuffled off to another place.
Certainly worth a visit if you like that kind of thing but, having done a house clearance, I was not in a rush to reacquire more items from a bygone age.
I had the distinct sense that my children and I were being followed and watched by a young male member of staff. My children were behaving very well and certainly not out of control or a risk to items.
I have no problem with staff keeping an eye on customers and I'm sure young children can be an issue with all the glass cabinets and breakables. Absolutely fair play but this just felt quite blatant and unnecessary. Probably wouldn't have written this up but it seems I'm not the only one to feel there is room for a little boost to service.Written 3 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You have to contact the Gallery to make an appointment as it's in a secure enclosed area.Written 2 October 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
