Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The pallet workshop with Charis and Sophie from The Salvage Sister was brilliant… I made a garden bench…!! Not only do they teach you how to use all power tools from drills to circular saws and more and to upcycle a pallet into many different things ie planters tables chairs benches.. but they have endless patience and tolerance and a lotta fun whilst adhering to health & safety rules. I’ve already got some ideas of what I’d like to make next now I have the skills and the confidence to give it a go… Was the best day with like minded women..

Four of us attended the afternoon session yesterday as part of the second day of our hen. We had a really lovely relaxing time, and the session leader was really helpful. We are already planning to return! Thank you so much for a fantastic afternoon, and we can’t wait to come again.

The half day course was a brilliant appetiser! We all thoroughly enjoyed our morning and made some beautiful mosaics. We will be back more!

The best part was feeling like I was getting real experience and an actual worthwhile piece of furniture. The teacher Tanya was execellent and explained everything perfectly and took the time to help me when I struggled. This was the perfect workshop and I will be coming back with more ideas to try out!!!

An amazing gallery in Brighton for visitors and art lovers. It offers a memorable experience that will leave visitors, in particular art enthusiasts, inspired. A must-visit destination in Brighton for captivating artwork and community appreciation.

After visiting the gallery, you can visit the famous beach in Brighton.

A really fun birthday for one of our group of 13 . We were amazed that we all came away with a pendant we’d be happy to wear .Jenny very patiently guided us through the process with helpful design tips . Lovely afternoon tea provided while our pieces were drying before the next stage of firing , polishing etc .
A great way to spend an afternoon . Easy pre booked parking at the Buzz Bingo car park just down the road made it very easy to get to .
Thanks Jenny for a memorable day

I needed a new battery for my Canon 80D. The shop stocked one so I bought it. Unfortunately it was not charged. The staff member kindly found a charger and charged it for me. Excellent and friendly service. I would fully recommend this shop.

I booked a 'make a fascinator' workshop for my sister's hen do - it was absolutely superb. We (group of 18) arrived to a table full of lovely looking flowers, feathers, ribbon and fabrics - they provided plenty for the group and a wide choice. Katie was so friendly and very patiently taught us how to make the fascinator.

All of our creations looked fabulous and we wore them out for the evening. Katie also provided a glass of bubbly on arrival and tea, coffee, yummy cakes and biscuits halfway through. It's also done I a really quirky venue which is completely suited to the craft workshops.

I would recommend Hard Craft to anyone wanting a craft workshop in Brighton.

I've been coming in here for a few years. I love the spacious work area with raised stools and plenty of power sockets. The coffee is always good and the music is also approved of. The place has featured artists in their gallery and workshops upstairs. We need to keep this place alive, it's everything Brighton stands for

I travelled a long way to the workshop and it was the best day EVER!
Greg is so knowledgable about the world of chocolate and I really enjoyed getting my hands dirty for the occasion and co-assisting him by making Chocolate orange!
It was also a nice opportunity for me and my friends to bond on a different way and we would definitely go again.
I have recommended the workshop to more friends who are chocoholic mad!
    Thumbs up from me! 👍

I was really impressed with Johnny's approach to teaching. Although he follows the syllabus, as per the course guide, he speaks with authority and clarity and is able to answer any little questions. He also makes clear the depth of knowledge for Level 2 you will be expected to display for the exam. There is a lot of ground to be covered and you will need to do the reading at home but it is worth it.
I took this course for personal pleasure, rather than professional reasons and I feel like I learned an awful lot. We sampled 43 different wines and I was able to understand why I preferred the taste of some bottles over others. It also allowed me to reassess wines that I had not particularly liked before.
We were lucky enough to take our course in the beautiful surroundings of Ridgeview which added to the enjoyment.
I would throughly recommend this course and Sussex Wine School.

The staff here are the most lovely people, so friendly and kind. The products they sell are beautiful handmade by women's collective crotchet and knitted things
