But as english beaches go, this is pretty good, with lots of bars and restaurants and things to do! Well worth a weekend trip, but that’s about it! £1 charge per person to go on the pier and things are not cheap on there so worth noting. There are a lot of small shops that sell all kinds of products, generally artisanal or small series. Antiques, vintage products and much more. Buildings full of graffiti, cafes, small bars and indescribable crowds. - therichastillStevenage, UK3,227 contributionsBeneath the cliffs along the Sussex seafront there are paths to take you alongside the beach.
Within Brighton there are different paths some on the same level as the beach and some are a bit higher.
The ones next to the seafront are well maintained however when I visited in January 2024 one of the paths higher up the cliff was closed.

Mostly guys and a few couples. All felt very natural and relaxed. Cafes, lawns, formal borders and a rose garden with statues, wild flowers in the summer, a velodrome situated in the north-east corner, tennis courts, childrens play area, runners and joggers galore. Opposite the park, across the main London Road is the largest municipal rock garden in Britain, built up the side of a steep railway embankment. - Yebojohn3 contributionsMy family recent had an overnight stay in Brighton. I fell in love with Zorian’s artwork. On returning from our night away, I contacted Zorian by email and arranged to purchase one of his Rhino prints in a beautiful chunky wooden frame.
All my dealings with Zorian were an absolute pleasure.
He arranged for it to be shipped to me. It was packed so well and labelled very clearly as fragile.
I am delighted with my magnificent piece of artwork and can highly recommend Zorian for his passion and enthusiasm, he was just so happy to hear that I was pleased with my artwork. He even advised when it came to hanging the piece.
