Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Alan R1 contributionOur guide was excellent. He had researched a lot of the history Brighton Police and was good at answering qyuestions. Next time that you want something to do for about an hour and a half in Brighton, for a very reasonable cost, please book a tour.Written 2 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Liisa TBrighton and Hove, United Kingdom9 contributionsAwesome time for the whole family! We went with our teenager/young adult kids & 7month old & had the best time 🥳👏 (it’s definitely not for babies per se, but ours was luckily entertained watching & just being there cuddled. it can be loud).

- RonLawrencePoole, UK211 contributionsWe went to celebrate my husbands 80th birthday and had a fantastic time. All staff were professional, the tutors helping you to achieve the best that you could. Loved the rifle shooting and knocking down the little ducks in a row, wide variety of types of shot to be taken here. The shotgun was a bit more tricky, however managed to hit the clays and always 'just missed' that rabbit. The axe and knife throwing took skill but was well worth the effort. The free tea and coffee helped the day go well and all the tutors (Ollie and Ethan or was that Nathan?) were amazing.Written 11 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Adrian MStoke-on-Trent, UK20 contributionsThis was a unique experience that I'm glad I booked. In my party we had a mixture of rum and gin which made for some fantastic cocktails. It was fun all the way and even though we were given license to ad-lib, there was no pressure to participate. A "Benjamin Button" punchline had even the characters applauding. I'd happily do this again.Written 24 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Mari PHove, UK2 contributionsWe came for my childs 10th birthday party. My son and his guests had a great time and managed to solve the riddles just in time. Theo, our host was great creating the scene as well as discreetly plying is with clues when needed. My son said it was the best party ever. - Sophia SBrighton, UK8 contributionsIf you've ever wanted to unleash the hidden combat archer in you, this is the way to go.
You know you ought not enjoy shooting your friends (or your kids!) but let's be honest, it's awesome fun!
After a thorough safety briefing and being kitted out with some top quality equipment, we played a series of games which kept the adrenaline pumping and competitive spirit well and truly alive.
I can't recommend this highly enough for anyone old enough to pull a bow - my kids loved it, my friends loved it and I loved it; so much so that I'm encouraging all my clients to book for corporate days too.

We were handcuffed together initially and, thru solving clues, released ourselves from the handcuffs and escaped the cell. Thanks to Aidan for the odd clue!Written 31 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- 436MimiLondon, UK250 contributionsToday we visited the Cauldron as a birthday treat for our daughter’s birthday as she is a massive Harry Potter fan. We didn’t really know what to expect but what we got was a fantastic one off experience. We loved the making of magic potions and the wearing of wizard robes and waving of wands made it even more fun! Our host Jena was really hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed, when we needed it with the wave of a wand.
I would highly recommend this experience for anyone who is a Harry Potter or Witcher fan.Written 7 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarah J33 contributionsGhost walk with Rosa. Firstly I was almost the only person to be going on the walk and Rosa was happy to still go ahead. It was a lovely evening. She’s passionate , interesting and definitely theatrically gifted. It was interesting to learn about Brighton’s ghosts and have historical facts thrown in too. Thank Rosa.Written 29 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
