Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unfortunately toilets out of order which wasn't ideal with the size of the centre and having too get too the other side before child had an accident.
Shopping Centre as a whole has a good amount of shops something for everyone. Food options also good

A small, but very enjoyable gallery with the works nicely displayed with informative descriptions. I found both the permanent and temporary exhibits interesting. And it's free!

Southampton, you are improving! Great to see this always wonderful gallery move from the shadows on the Soton Uni campus to a prime location. There were some great pieces on show and unexpected works that delighted me. The video projection screens area in the front could use a little protection from the staff talking loudly on the front desk, and for pensive work the opening and closing front door exposed the viewers to street noise. But overall I applaud this great addition to the high street.

Visited the store with my daughter and young grandchildren today as I have done countless times but today was disappointing. On arrival at the restaurant we were told that despite sanitising our hands at the store entrance - you’re made to feel that entry will be forbidden if you don’t sanitise first- we then had to sanitise under inspection again. The one way system was a nuisance and isn’t something we’ve experienced in other restaurants but we could live with this. However, when we ordered the cream tea, we had to ask for the cream separately. The scones were hard and tasted at least a day old and the cream was solid. The staff were lovely but I wouldn’t recommend the cream tea and wouldn’t return until the covid restrictions are lifted a little

I went in this week and had an excellent breakfast here. 10/10 would recommend. The standard of food is incredible for a small garden centre.

The best hot chocolate I’ve ever tasted and I’ve drunk a few!
This old fashioned sweet shop, come chocolatier and cafe is a little gem and is right in the heart of Southampton in the Marlands centre.
Milkshakes, coffee, tea, cakes, toast and sandwiches it’s a great place for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.
    Highly recommend

Excellent, down to earth place for a very good beer. Choice of 4 keg and 4 cask, rarely anything outrageously unusual bar the occasional esoteric sour, but something for everyone from IPA and golden ales to porter and stouts via bitters. Also good range of second hand books.

We only ever headed into the Marlands for the Disney Store but now we tend to visit more. It is always clean and tidy; We often see staff walking around and they look approachable should there be a problem. Many people use it as a cut through from Asda to town but there are also some great shops inside that shouldn't be missed.

Good place for 'left luggage' if in Southampton for a few hours and can't drag your cruise ship luggage around. The address may be in error? Their website has 129 High Street. The satnav/gps that the Uber/Taxi driver used to locate them didn't work very well.
