  • The ranking of tours, activities, and experiences available on Tripadvisor is determined by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, the frequency of user clicks, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had friends from Cambridgeshire visiting including 2 children (9 and 4 years old), I contacted Bryan in advance of the tour to confirm he was happy for the children to come along. Bryan was engaged with us all and the 9 year old, who is studying history at school, had some great questions which he answered at a level which she understood but he didn't belittle her.
There was another group with us and he spoke to us all, was knowledgeable, engaging and warm.
I would highly recommend the tour

Just brilliant. Lillian was utterly engaging throughout. Immense depth of knowledge- fielded all our ad hoc questions with ease. Truly passionate about the history and community of the area. The tour was fascinating. I highly highly recommend this tour and Lillian’s expertise and general enthusiasm if you’re in the Winchester area.

This was our first “coach” tour, on a Go Tour mini bus.
Driver Len was lovely and took is to some “surprise” places that were cool. He stayed polite and cheerful with a rather difficult group too!
Bus seats were ok, a few said they uncomfortable, too hard.
The tour gave a great snapshot of the Cotswolds and Cornwall stopping first at Stonehenge for a quick look (that’s all that is needed) then to Salisbury & Lyme St Regis. Each day was about the same, 3-4 stops, some quick some for like 2 hours, all interesting and beautiful.
My word of caution is Do NOT choose the B&B option! White Hart Inn in Exeter is so gross!(dirty, old carpet, smelly bathroom and lumpy mattress) while Mercure Hotel is FANTASTIC! Lugo Rock B&B in Falmouth is Clean and hostess is lovely, but lumpy mattress again and Tiny shower. Still, WAY better than White Hart.
While this was a great way to see a lot, you do give up the freedom to explore more or cut short when you want. Don’t know what the answer is to be able to see Cornwall, because driving on those narrow roads wouldn’t be an option for us either!

Words cannot describe the joy I experience as I turn the corner to see this cycle bus. As an avid SUV driver, these cyclists must feel so entitled wanting SAFE TRAVEL into winchester!!!! Sometimes I perfect a drift just so they can feel the gust of wind from my 3 tonne car. I’ve already managed to hit three of them, it always makes my day so much better.
These people are impeding my RIGHT of FREEDOM to go 75 in a 60 zone. I think the council really need to build an 18 lane super highway instead of a cycle lane so I am able to hit these entitled cyclists at 100mph+ speeds. Please continue this cycle bus, it brings me so much happiness hitting cyclists in the morning 🥰🥰🥰

The experience with Cab My Ride was wonderful, we booked very last minute on the day and our driver Vidas picked us up from our hotel in London on time with an immaculate vehicle! Our tour lasted two hours at Stonehenge before leaving for Southampton for our ship!

We use Cab My Ride for airport transfers but this was our first tour, would definalty recommend contacting them and enquire about a tour, Arjan was great and accommodating!

Thank you, see you soon for our return trip.

Our 3-day trip to Isle of Wight provided an easy and informative way to navigate a road trip through Portsmouth and a ferry ride to the Isle of Wight.

Its seaside villages and countryside are lovely and seem “far from the madding crowd”.

Our driver-guide, June, lives on the Isle and knows the area well. On our last afternoon together, she provided tea and biscuits at her home.

Thanks, Rabbies for sharing June with us.

This was a small group. It was myself, and a mother daughter duo. Bryan, our guide, still did the tour even though it was just the three of us. It was excellent being in a small group. Bryan taught us all about the history of the sites we walked to in Winchester. He answered our questions and chatted with us and cracked a few jokes. It was a very enjoyable tour and I am glad I signed up for it. Winchester is absolutely beautiful. I stopped in The Royal Oak after for food and beer. Bryan pointed that pub out on the tour as the oldest pub in Winchester. I will return to Winchester again in my future travels.
