Beautiful to wander around, the river and plants are lovely, it has fabulous trees and very peaceful, it also has an amazing children's play park.
The River Stour runs through the park and against the backdrop of the last remaining gate tower and beautiful flowers, it is the perfect place to stop and chill or have a stroll.

Wonderful cycle route on a sunny day!! Escape the city and enjoy this scenic nature walkway.
Along the way, we passed several lakes and a very well equipped children's play park so this walk is perfect for a family with children that can walk far enough.

My only commitments for improvements would be to have more dog waste bins and better signage to guild you around and get you back to the car park!! Really enjoyed our Sunday walk!
Clowes wood does have a car park- but take care and don't' leave valuables.

There's a canoe hire facility based here, and the lovely Stodmarsh Nature Reserve is just across the road.
The car park is £1.20 during the week but £2 on weekends but apart from that it's free.
