Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying

- Geoff HSissinghurst, UK17,736 contributionsAn excellent place for walking and exercising your dog (provided it's kept on a lead as there are animals about). There are two marked walks, indicated by painted posts (and on a leaflet which you can pick up as you enter). The paths are well maintained and are wheelchair and pushchair friendly, although they are rough and, in some places, quite steep and will probably be muddy in wet weather. There are information boards dotted about to show what you are looking at and there are also benches where you can sit and enjoy the views. There's a small free car park but nothing else.Written 23 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Geoff HSissinghurst, UK17,736 contributionsFriezley Wood in Cranbrook, Kent is, at the moment, giving every indication that Spring is on its way. The floor of the wood is a carpet of yellow narcissi and it is certainly worth going out of your way to have a look at the,. However, after the recent winds, they are not that east to get to.Written 6 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Geoff HSissinghurst, UK17,736 contributionsAs it is summer, the signed paths are a bit overgrown at the moment. However, it is still worth forcing your way through the leaves and branches because it is a marvellous place to exercise (and walk your dog if you have one). It is rare if you see anyone and you can really enjoy the silence, except for the sounds of nature.Written 10 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sharon H2 contributionsIt’s the first time we’ve played here, we were looking for a nice local course that wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg.
We both really enjoyed the course, and found it challenging without being impossible. There’s hills, lakes and bunkers (I landed in most of them) and long and short holes to keep you interested.
We were sad to learn in it will be closing in October, but plan to be back a few times before then to make the most of this gem of a short course.Written 19 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Easy to book a time slot online. Easy parking.
The staff were really friendly and I’m assuming the man was the owner as he made a real effort to e gate with customers.
The crazy golf is well thought out and definitely fun for the kids, with all the dinosaurs.
It’s very well maintained and clean.
They have drinks and a few outdoor tables to sit at. Very reasonable prices.
All in all..very impressive and we will be back.Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CallumJLondon, UK10 contributionsLovely 18 hole golf course. Not the longest course but has plenty of dog legs and tough pin positions to make it a challenge. Course is in great condition with a nice clubhouse for a drink once you've finished!Written 17 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is something for every member of the family.
We live in the Cotswolds but are going again this year as it was well worth the journey.

- LindaW3107Hartlepool, UK63 contributionsI booked 2 trips using the App going from Staplehurst Station to Hawkhurst Community Hospital & return.
The price was ÂŁ27 each way.
On the morning of the trip when on the train, I received a call to say they would have to charge me ÂŁ70 each way because of coming from Tunbridge Wells.
I cancelled the booking.
As the trip was to visit my brother in a rehab unit, this meant me having to turn round & go back to London.Written 26 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
