Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Geoff HSissinghurst, UK17,512 contributionsAn excellent place for walking and exercising your dog (provided it's kept on a lead as there are animals about). There are two marked walks, indicated by painted posts (and on a leaflet which you can pick up as you enter). The paths are well maintained and are wheelchair and pushchair friendly, although they are rough and, in some places, quite steep and will probably be muddy in wet weather. There are information boards dotted about to show what you are looking at and there are also benches where you can sit and enjoy the views. There's a small free car park but nothing else.Written 23 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The floor of the wood is a carpet of yellow narcissi and it is certainly worth going out of your way to have a look at the,. However, after the recent winds, they are not that east to get to.Written 6 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Geoff HSissinghurst, UK17,512 contributionsAs it is summer, the signed paths are a bit overgrown at the moment. However, it is still worth forcing your way through the leaves and branches because it is a marvellous place to exercise (and walk your dog if you have one). It is rare if you see anyone and you can really enjoy the silence, except for the sounds of nature.Written 10 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
