Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Roger T1 contributionAnd the raptors were full of character and very impressive. From the very chatty Gary the Buzzard, Pablo the Harris' Hawk and Vespa the Steppe Eagle all flying to your hand (with gauntlet), to feeding 5 Black Kites on the wing using catapults! Liam, the co-owner, was very knowledgeable - always happy to answer questions. Plenty of time to take photos and videos. A very relaxing and informative afternoon - would highly recommend.Written 12 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Geoff HSissinghurst, UK17,465 contributionsSecond time visit this year and as lovely as ever. Well maintained paths and, apart from walking, you can have a boat on the lake, watch the geese, use the exercise machines and, if there are any children with you, they can use the playground with its own dinosaur. If the grown-ups are interested, at one end of the park there is the Victoria Cross Grove commemorating those residents of Royal Tunbridge Wells who were awarded the Victoria Cross in the First World War. For refreshments, there's the excellent Dunorlan Park Cafe (not dog friendly inside, but you can sit at the tables outside with your four-footed friend).Written 21 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Norbert11 contributionsWe completed the walk around the reservoir, took just under 4 hours. I agree with other reviewers, the car park is a rip off, but if you are prepared to walk 3 miles there is free parking on Rosemary Lane.
I’d like to thank those many lovely dog owners who let their pets defecate on the paths and can’t be bothered to clear up the mess.Written 14 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was lovely wandering round having the place practically to ourselves.Written 15 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There for 3 hours and we flew 8 birds from Barn Owls to a Vulture (she was a real character). Took loads of photos but won't bore you with them. Great fun and fantastic value for money.Written 26 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sian Ccardiff33 contributionsThis was a peaceful place and we had a lovely hour or so wandering amongst the ruins. There were brief boards of information - but they only gave basic information. I would have liked to have more information.Written 8 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ian S8 contributionsJust been to see Buzzcocks at The Forum. If you want to see a favourite band up close and intimate and get a sweat on then it's a great venue. It holds around 200 people at a squeeze but seems to be very well run with a very easy to access bar and no problems getting in and out. Plenty of parking within a couple of minutes walk. Basic decor yes but decent acoustics which let's face it, is the most important thing.
Buzzcocks were excellent fun and this was a perfect setting. A bouncing, enthusiastic crowd and everyone enjoying themselves. With the sad passing of Pete Shelley, Mr Diggle has picked up the vocal baton and while he doesn't have the same range, his enthusiasm and the tight band made it a great night. So many hits too. Left with my ears ringing but fantastic to see a local venue doing so well after so many years and all power to them.
Personal highlights: Ever Fallen In Love (obviously!), I Don't Mind, Love You More, Autonomy, What Do I Get, Why Can' I Touch It and the elongated sing-along Harmony In My Head.
Sidenote: For those who haven't kept up with Buzzcocks, I would strongly recommend listening to the recent Sonics In The Soul album and especially "Manchester Rain" - right up there with a lot of their earlier tracks.Written 26 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As non-climbers, we find that there is a finite number of climbs we can attempt, and that the majority is too difficult for us to attempt. She can do grey and yellow; I can do most oranges and some purples. If you were catering purely to people like us, you would add a lot more yellows and oranges, and perhaps purples, but I can only assume that a good number of people can actually attempt the difficult ones, even if to me they look mindbendingly difficult.Written 9 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Roving36017415 contributionsA lovely, local theatre in a former church in the centre of Tunbridge Wells. - Clive RMaidstone, UK4 contributionsInteresting park hidden in Tunbridge Wells. Nicely maintained and well looked after. Plenty of paths for walking if the ground is wet. Also has cafe & toilets plus nice children play areas.Written 28 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BillyBadger66Royal Tunbridge Wells, UK39 contributionsLocal produce and great selection of pick your own fruit, with the fairly recent addition of a tea room/coffee shop makes for a winning combinationWritten 17 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Geoff HSissinghurst, UK17,465 contributionsAn interesting church which, I was told, was the first "real" building in Tunbridge Wells. It has a ceiling completed by plasterers who had worked for Sir Christopher Wren and Princess Victoria visited the church. A plaque marks the balcony pew she used. While you're on that balcony, see if you can find the cherub with the moustache! An interesting building well worth visiting.Written 5 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ingrid B2 contributionsThis was our third time visiting for teen/tween b-day party and we all had a cracking time.
This time we did Diamond Dogs which is engaging & real fun, the set- up is very professional and the host (Felix) was fantastic as he guided a bunch of over-excited 10 year olds through the clues.Written 13 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This is one of the few things still around and is fairly underwhelming. Clearly there seems to be an inverse relationship between health giving properties of the water and its taste. Reminds me of he medicines of my childhood.Written 27 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
