Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Proper boozer with a great atmosphere. Lots of different ales on which are obviously well looked after.
Be warned it is tiny so be prepared to stand, but definitely worth it.

As much as I love going in to the bar itself, they also have a great online shop. During the dark days of 2020, I discovered straits crates. Beers and cocktails to your door! Fast forward to this weekend, and I noticed that they still do it. The curated beer package is an absolute banger for any craft beer fan. Message them your preferred beer style, and the knowledgeable team will select 5 beers for you. On top of that, you get tasting notes, and a free glass. Such great value in a market that is usually not that economical. I can't recommend them enough.

What a great venue. We have been 4 times in 12 months and it just gets better. You won’t find a more friendly and safer venue in the UK. Bar staff actually keep an eye on who is next in the queue which is really unusual nowadays. Drinks are reasonable and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
Congrats to the Warlocks on a brilliant venue.

Vice were very accommodating to our group reservation, they asked us to preorder our first round of drinks to save us waiting on arrival & allowing us to have split tabs at the table. Molly & the majority of the team who we spoke to were brilliant; one server rolled their eyes to another team member, frustrated after taking our second order that we had asked was put into the separate tabs but we didn’t let this affect our night. The drinks were nice & plenty of different ones to try.

I visit mablethorpe a few times a year and this is the only place I eat, friendly staff, soon seated and served unless school holidays.

I visited earlier this month and had the vegan carvery , the vegan pie was delicious and all the veg was yummy, nice crispy roasties and well cooked veg, great price.

The pub is very clean and tidy and toilets are clean too, the staff are sometimes rushed off their feet but always come over and ask “is everything ok with your meal” which is a nice touch.

    A credit to mablethorpe

What a stunning music venue. The art work is amazing. Take time to wander around and take pics of the wall art, the lyrics and the music links to Mods, Rockers, Beatles, even Frank Sinatra himself. There’s nothing around like this place. Bar staff were super fast serving a packed out first night and huge choice of beers and Ciders. Then you take a walk across the most famous “crossing” in the world, accompanied by The Beatles at your side, to step “outside” to a stage with live music with a huge area to dance the night away. Fantastic venue.

Once again a fabulous meal with attentive service. The pub was festooned with amazing Christmas decorations. Impossible not to feel Christmassy! What a special Christmas Eve.

Quite frankly the must do and place to visit if in Cleethorpes. Literally is the smallest pub, possibly get 3 people in it at a squeeze.. staff/owner is very welcoming, plenty of seating outdoors some under cover.

It also has nearby the local miniature railway taking you from this location to the Leisure Centre and back. Also a small cafe/restaurant next door if you’re a little peckish.

We went today as it's Mother's day. We had chilli cheese burgers, chicken & bacon salad and the Sunday roast.
We all enjoyed the food. The Sunday roast said it came with Mash & roast but there wasn't any mash. Also the green beans were a little over cooked, but apart from that it was lovely.
For dessert we decided to all go for the trifle sundae, but there wasn't any, so we left.
Some of the seating is in need of a refurb too.

Had our first visit here today - plenty of car parking, welcoming and friendly staff and didn't have to wait too long for our hot food. We can personally recommend the classic burger and haddock & chips, although my husband saw a pie being served and he wants to come back and try that now!

It's recommended that you book for the burger (Tues) and steak nights (Wed), to ensure you can get a table.

My only concern that stops me giving 5 stars, is that our car was covered in medium sized flies when we went back to the car, so when you opened the doors, they all went in the car and took us ages to get rid of them. I'm not sure if they are off the river or because of the over flowing rubbish skip/bin in the car park.

So sorry I can’t give it more than 5, the meal ,service was out of this world , top notch and probably the best in the area. The meat from Len Edwards was superb, the vegetables cooked to perfection, so so pleased we didn’t opt for the large plate , immense portions.
