- Yeti O1 contributionWhat a fantastic and moving experience. The story of the members of Bomber command, those who made it through and those many more who did not, is sensitively and clearly explained. All of the staff were friendly and I couldn't believe how knowledgeable they were about the events, aircraft and crews. The memorial itself is touching and the views over Lincoln are not to be missed. If you had family involved with Bomber command go and look up information about them, if you didn't then visit anyway. Go with an inquisative mind and you will not be disappointed.Written 9 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Becky Allen HollandBarnsley, UK291 contributionsLovely place, lots of independent, quirky shops. awesome view from the top of the hill, well worth the steep climb, but it is very steep but it is an excellent place where I nearly see the cathedral in Lincoln and it is an excellent experience as well and I went on the steep hill in Lincoln back in December 2012 when I was young where I have a walk around the steep hill and I wore sensible shoes when going in this place in Lincoln and it is an excellent experience as well.Written 21 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarah L2 contributionsFirst off, Margaret was incredibly friendly, inviting and extremely knowledgeable of Lincoln history. We introduced that we were from the States but had a local connection but not sure where we start our journey. The site is steeped in history and excellent artifacts arranged for us to see the life areas of Lincoln through the years. A little cold inside the buildings but that matched the weather so not too bad. Awesome tank and tractor items which impressed us in size and design. Love the museum and it is a must see sight. Always on our list to return soon.Written 9 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Comfortable, clean lodge with plenty of room for all with the added bonus of having a lovely hot tub.
Quiet and peaceful with lovely walks around the fishing lakes or just chilling in the lodge. Very near the red arrows base so was fortunate to watch them practicing daily.
Will definitely stay again.Written 10 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. She said my mistake £25, still thought it was dear tbh, but how to make a £10 mistake, what id people don't realise it question it....
Anyway granddaughter liked the touching of the smaller animals and seeing some characters whilst walking about made her smile, the place is Vast and quite alot to it Inc indoor and outdoor animals to see and feed plenty of outdoor toys to play on as well, they have an eaterie and i found out I should of taken a picnic, 3 fish fingers chips and a drink for me £10!!Written 4 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
