Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited today to the restaurant for brunch as my wife birthday
My fault but we missed the cut off time
Spoke to Amy H , told her I was in trouble 😡
I asked for a table for lunch a little later
We returned in 45 minutes to be greeted and shown to a reserved table set for lunch
    Staff were brilliant
Food was plentiful and excellent quality
Thanks Amy, think you saved the day

Our 2 week stay at Hanworth Country Park in our motorhome was outstanding. From the moment we arrived to the very last day we were shown nothing but the best treatment. The receptionist through to the staff at Brewers cafe/ bar were all amazing and so friendly and helpful. The amenities are very good with several fishing lakes and lovely walks. The individual showers and toilets were clean and lovely and warm, which was lovely as we went in January! There is a footpath which takes you into Potterhanworth where there's a nice pub with excellent food.

This country park has lost several trees in the recent storms. The paths have been cleared but sadly there are many fallen trees at the side. Hopefully these will be cleared and taken away before the good weather arrives.

Went here initially for a messy play session but afterwards we let our 2 year old play in the Little Otters Play Area. Great play area with interactive elements. Loved the fact that within the play area were comfy seating! Next time we hope to do a whole day there and walk around. I must agree with others on one thing. It's pretty expensive so we won't be coming here as often as we would like.

The nature park is beautiful and well kept. Easily accessible for disabled and pushchairs. Plenty of wildlife. Entry free + car parking only £2.50 all day. The cafe is amazing. Food is excellent for both choice and quality. Prices very reasonable. Staff are so friendly. We'll worth a visit if only for the cafes minted grilled lamb in pitta which my husband can't stop talking about!

Went for afternoon tea with friends yesterday, lovely lady on desk took us to table, order tea etc, food arrived all good, until we had been there for quite a while (other tables having tea also), and no one came to check all ok, we had to go and find young lady to ask for more tea, she brought one cup, we wanted more for all of us!. They seemed more concerned with cleaning up the kitchen than anything else. Such a shame as the food was good just the service let it down.

Got bummed here once, few years back. Aside from that, really a lovely place. Would recommend (with a tight belt).

We were surprised to find this quite new marina area in Lincoln. Quite a contrast to the old town, a short distance up the hill. Yes, there are the usual chain restaurants on the front together with hotels and student accommodation. On a less flooded weekend, there would have been tables and chairs outside, overlooking the surprising numbers of boats and craft with quite a Mediterranean feel to things. However you don't have to go very far to find some traditional pubs and individual shops and cafes. A pleasant surprise and we enjoyed our visit here

Popped in with the Sister and her young Grandkids who really enjoyed having lunch by the chickens, playing in the fox cubs area and the teepee in the Roman Villa Clearing Lincoln is very fortunate to have this place so close yet so few are aware of it.

Lovely park, well maintained. Went there for a little stretch after long journey. My 4 year old was happy with a playground and a zip line. Cafe had yummy snacks and warm drinks. Parking for free.

Review only for cafe. Have been visiting cafe for many years now when we visit family. It used to be extremely high quality homecooked food and the steak pie was exceptional. Last 2 visits have been very disappointing and I suspect we will not use the cafe again in the future. Yesterday we ordered fish cakes with chilli sauce. No mention made when ordering, but meal arrived with a slice of lemon. ("We have no chilli sauce"). Would have been good to know when ordering. 2 steak pies were disgusting and full of gristle and mashed potato looked suspiciously like Smash. Prices not exceptionally cheap either and we are not a family of fussy eaters! Although tables were sprayed and wiped down between customers, they were all extremely sticky and seemed to need a thorough clean.
Staff very friendly and helpful; cakes, scones, etc looked very attractive, but I would definitely not have a hot lunch there again.

15 miles of flat, traffic free walking and cycling on a tarmac trail that follows the river Whitham to Boston. Regular info boards bring the history to life - tales of navvies who canalised the old river, WW1 bombing raids, ferry tragedies and medieval monastries included. Big skies, lots of wildflowers and wet land birds.

The West Common is a huge area of open land where we used to go cross country running when at school in Lincoln. The views to the cathedral are impressive. This green oasis for the city of Lincoln is a welcome relief from the traffic.
