Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ive been to many cathedrals in the country, and Lincoln is one of the finest. Open every day, and costs £12 entry, for most. The architecture is splendid, and you get a map and information on entry, to point you in the direction of the highlights. the stained glass windows, and choir stalls are the highlights

As well as the prison and the wall walk I enjoyed the free hourly guided tour that comes with the admission price, largely because of guide Anthony who was educational and entertaining (Anthony is probably the only Lincoln Castle guide with a musketeer-like handlebar moustache). Shout out to the guides, who apparently are all volunteers.

This is our second visit here, first many years ago. Its free to enter, but leave a donation for the upkeep. Most of the exhibits are housed in the old barracks. There is a small section dedicated to the Lincolnshire regiment, and lots of old machinery, and a tank. I liked the old rooms of the houses best, and the shops from years gone by. There is a small cafe, which is rather nice, and toilets

Took hubby here for his birthday as he loves all things military. What an amazing place, pre booked entrance fees, parking and joined a guided tour which gave back story as to how it all evolved. Very sobering but fascinating. Found my Great Uncles name on the wall. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The title is more a warning because it is steep and not for the faint hearted. You can get a bus or taxi to the top then race down.o

Visited today to the restaurant for brunch as my wife birthday
My fault but we missed the cut off time
Spoke to Amy H , told her I was in trouble 😡
I asked for a table for lunch a little later
We returned in 45 minutes to be greeted and shown to a reserved table set for lunch
    Staff were brilliant
Food was plentiful and excellent quality
Thanks Amy, think you saved the day

Came here yesterday with my 5&7 year old. It rained most of the morning so we did the soft play, the Easter themed show/activity and the build a bear activity. The indoor soft play is relatively big (not as big as some as we have been to however I feel this is more of an outdoor oriented site) the kids still enjoyed the soft play for an hour or so. There is also an air cannon room where the kids can shoot foam balls and have a ‘battle’.

The Easter themed show/activity is amazing, you can tell the amount of work that has gone into this- the tunnels even smell of chocolate! Without spoiling it, it consists of multiple rooms which contain lots of singing and dancing and an Easter egg which they can pick from around 5-6 different choices at the end!

The actors are friendly, outfits are outstanding and they look great! The build a bear aspect of the Easter activities was enjoyable, the kids could choose a bear then stuffed it and had a certificate written for them at the end, they could also choose an outfit for an additional £11- a little pricey so we just stuck with the bear each.

Once the sun came out we had chance to explore outside and the farm, outside had multiple different activities to do- go karts, huge play structures, trampolines, swings, roundabouts it had it all! It was very boggy in places as expected with all the rain we have had so wear wellies. The kids throughly enjoyed the trampolines and the tyre swing/roundabout.

On the farm the animals are kept in immaculate conditions, they look well looked after and cared for it is evident they are very loved by staff who are enthusiastic and love their job. We got to hold chicks and rabbits but there was so much other things we could do on the farm such as watching the cows getting milked and bottle feeding the lambs.
There is also a free tractor ride and some ride on tractors which were a £1 each (coins required)

Food and drink options- there was a picnic area- indoors and also a small cafe offering a few meals. We didn’t go into the gift shop so I’m unable to comment on this.

Overall an absolutely fantastic day out with plenty to do come rain or shine and absolutely fantastic value for money. We have even spoken about getting annual passes!

Such a lovely day out, discovering the history of 106 Squadron in Bomber County.
All the volunteers were so friendly and helpful, and so knowledgeable! We loved the opportunity to go inside the Dakota.
The on-site cafe is great value and everything is served with a smile.
Our teens were happy to wander around and read the informative displays, but there were younger children there enjoying a trail also.
Don't forget to head out for a drive around the runways on your way home!

If you're just nipping out to take in some air and enjoy a brisk walk, you can't go wrong here. Parking isn't the best however and the facilities are sadly lacking. But to just get out there and stretch your legs, you can't go far wrong.

We recently moved to the area and this was our first trip to this being our new local theatre and we’ll be back 100%. We watched the Little Mermaid this evening and we were blown away with the quality of the show, the kids loved it but us adults loved it even more. Visually it was stunning and the Your Back song was a showstopper, wold highly recommend.

I live nearby and never tire of visiting Whisby nature park. Different walking routes of varying distances mean that you can change your route from time to time to keep your interest. The nature of the seasons means that the views are rarely the same and Whisby is a lovely little idyll well worth visiting. The visitor centre has a splendid cafe serving food from breakfast to dinner with a wide selection of meals on offer.
It's the walks you're there for however, it's a dog walkers paradise for instance. There are bird hides at every turn, dotted around the lakes that you'll amble by as you enjoy the stroll. In order to escape the concrete jungle park your car at the inexpensive car park and do take in the fresh air and enjoy your day at Whisby.

For all you homeware needs, but predominantly garden. We needed a feature tree for our garden and a large Acer seemed to fit the bill. There was plenty choice at Pennells, from large to small. And we settled on a mid range tree that was far too big to fit in our car. Delivered free of charge by the end of the same day, fantastic service.
The garden department is huge and incredibly well stocked. From grass to trees, it's all there.
The homeware and clothing section is large but do be warned... Between September and January, Christmas takes over the store. If that's your thing, you'll love it. If not, bite your lip and enjoy the lovely cafe...
