Couldn't recommend it more highly. I'm a member of several Beatles Facebook groups and was given the tip to go on a Fab Four Taxi tour by another member a couple of years ago. She highly recommended it as well. Upon our 30-year wedding anniversary, my wife and I decided to visit London for 3 days and Liverpool for 3 days – we're from NE Ohio. My wife is an angel for putting up with all my Beatles craziness.
Eddy, our driver, was fantastic. Equipped with a 3-ring binder of photos, he was full of tidbits, facts, relationships and connections. I don't want to ruin anyone's surprise, so I won't list them all here, nor give too much away in photos. And hopefully, I won't get Eddy in trouble for this, because I don't think he can guarantee that it would happen on every tour: BUT, (Incidentally, in chatting while we were driving around, I mentioned to Eddy that I was a drummer), one highlight of our tour is, whilst the three of us were on Penny Lane, along walks Colin Hanton. We meet, chat, laugh. He tells us of his book, Pre:Fab!, soon to be a documentary, and we part. At our next stop, Strawberry Field, we purchase said book at the gift shop only to discover it had been signed by Colin. All this and more on my birthday. The only downside was, I only turned 63.
After a few more stops, Eddy dropped us off at our hotel, The Hard Days Night Hotel, and departed to pickup his grandkids. What a prince of a guy, and what a great experience.
