Only a fool on a hill would miss this trip.
It’s totally fantastic, the guide was brilliant. He managed to sergeant pepper so many facts, lyrics and history into the tour it really brought the Beatles and Liverpool to life. Excellent value and a superb way to spend a couple of hours in the city.

From the moment we entered to check in every member of staff was so friendly and welcoming . It was our daughters birthday and everyone commented on her and made her feel so special, she uses a wheelchair and nothing was too much hassle with access to lifts etc . It was so clean and well done though out the whole tour . Matt and Tom our tour guides were fantastic.

A good cruise, worth doing as you see all the docks and sights.
Staff friendly but atmosphere was a little flat, perhaps because it wasn’t busy and it was January?
The commentary was a little hard to hear and could be improved.
The cafe bar opened the shutters and then said they wasn’t open…a little odd?
They did serve good tea once they were open.
Glad we did it but could be better with a few service tweaks.

What a full day of sites, banter, history, pit stops for breaks, lunch and drinks, photos etc.
an exciting wait for each site, one better than the next….breathtaking views, chatty locals, local delicacies, local history and a bit more!
    Well worth it, this trip.

We booked a two hour tour and our guide Dave was amazing. He has the academic credentials to really give you an insightful history of Liverpool AND he’s a good storyteller so it’s interesting and lively. Really glad we discovered Liverpool in this way. We learned so much that we would have missed

Damion made the trip. Deep knowledge, interesting facts and light hearted. Can also sing a bit too!

Even if you’re not a Beatles mega fan, this is for you.

Such a great and immersive experience with an audio guide with multiple language options to guide you. Tour takes about an hour and a half to two hours to complete thoroughly (listening to most if not all audios).
Gift shop snd cafe available. We also purchased the classic afternoon tea and lunch to have after our tour. The sliders were definitely interesting but why not try?
It came with a variety of desserts, 2 of 3 different sliders, and two biscuits with spread and jam. Most options were delicious but we couldn’t finish- would definitely be a lot of food for just two people and it’s recommended maybe to enjoy this with 3-4.
    Overall, such a pleasant experience!

A short train trip from where I was staying took me to the impressive offices of the Mersey Ferry Company by the Liverpool Building and Beatles statue.

I easily exchanged my voucher for bus and ferry tickets, and as I had just missed a ferry, they run on the hour, I had a short wait for the open top bus. The bus which leaves from outside the ferry offices, was quite full, but I managed to get a nice seat at the front.
The trip around the inner city was very interesting and our guide was very informative with a story or joke for every occasion. The trip took about 40 minutes, and returned us to the ferry offices.
I queued for the ferry which wasn't long in coming, and boarding was easy, I managed to get a nice seat on the upper deck.
The ferry itself was very tired and quite noisy, and it was quite disappointing not to be either to hear the pre recorded commentary at times, as it was either too quiet or the engine noise drowned it out! I understand a new ferry is being built but this will not be commissioned soon.
It would have been nice to have a live commentary to pick up on things like the new Everton Stadium, and the labour party conference which was being prepared.
It was nice on the River which did make up for some of the shortcomings, and there were good photo opportunities, so not all bad!

Came to Liverpool from South Wales to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday and booked this as a surprise for her. It was brilliant! Ian is so knowlegeable and passionate about Liverpool and the Beatles. I phoned him about a change in the pick-up location and it wasnt a problem at all for him. He even put up with our really bad Liverpudlian accents. He is a star!

Booked this tour as it seemed to be one of the main attractions in Liverpool. I didn't realise a tour about a building could be so interesting, there was definitely more to it than just the building itself, the clocks, the history of the city, the workers who built it, the different viewing aspects and the sites that can be seen from the roof. The tour guide was very professional, and knew his stuff sorry I didn't get his name. All in all worth every penny and definitely a recommendation from me

This is an excellent way to get your bearings and to learn a lot about this great City.
Start to finish it's 50 min and you can hop on and off as much as you wish, and I think the ticket is good for 2 days.
It's a live commentary which is provided in an informative and humorous style.
    Great fun.
