Our Featured sort order ranks tours, activities, and experiences by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, your individual user browsing history and preferences while using Tripadvisor, the frequency of user clicks generally, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

47 years a Liverpool fan so an emotional and entertaining day for my wife’s birthday!
Thank you Tom and Tor… pretty sure I won the quiz questions today and well done for making it entertaining even with a quiet group like the one we had!
The walking tour was amazing! Paul, our guide, was perfect. You can see his passion for Liverpool and, of course, for The Beatles. You just don’t feel time passing, as Paul tells you so many interesting stories, all linked with the sites we stop by while walking through the city. And, at the end of the tour, he tells you how he got just 2 meters away from a truly Beatle!
Extremely interesting and informative walk around Liverpool. Our guide - John - was engaging, very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions thrown at him - even those that were more about the surrounding area, rather than Liverpool itself. He also gave some good recommendations for places to visit, including bars/restaurants. I would highly recommend.
Fantastic tour..tour guides absolutely gave us a fantastic evening. We laughed and giggled. I would recommend that you give it a go.. the guides took time to get to know our names and where we were from.. absolutely loved it
Excellent walking tour with Allan. Covered the history of the city from 1207 to present day in a fun and informative way. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Liverpool.
This was a really good experience especially on Friday the 13th I took some photographs in St james cemetery and caught some spooky figures that have well and truly freaked me and my friends out very ghost tour and couldn't recommend enough 🖤
Definitely visited some of the important places I didn't know about beforehand. Eg the Hillsborough memorial. Slightly annoying that the commentator insisted on Liver (pronounced like the thing you eat) rather than Liver, which is how it is pronounced! Would recommend earphones to hear the commentary - it was a bit noisy with traffic at times. Otherwise very good.
We were delighted to have such a relevant local guide! He gave us a better understanding of Liverpool, its history and what it is becoming. What's more, we understood his English very well (lucky for us French!). Monique and Pierre
Our friendly and funny guide Allan took us on a wonderful tour through the centre of Liverpool and told us not only some amazing stories about the Beatles but also about the history of the city. We had a great time, and heard a lot of very interesting stories. Thank you so much Allan!
