You just don’t feel time passing, as Paul tells you so many interesting stories, all linked with the sites we stop by while walking through the city. Our guide - John - was engaging, very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions thrown at him - even those that were more about the surrounding area, rather than Liverpool itself. He also gave some good recommendations for places to visit, including bars/restaurants. Slightly annoying that the commentator insisted on Liver (pronounced like the thing you eat) rather than Liver, which is how it is pronounced! Would recommend earphones to hear the commentary - it was a bit noisy with traffic at times.
