Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Strawberry Field is a must-see/experience. There is a garden, cafe, gift shoppe and a small museum. The lovely garden was very nice to stroll about as it offers a few signs with lyric snippets throughout. The museum (small entrance fee) is primarily devoted to John Lennon and interesting history about the location. The cafe has lots of food and beverage offerings and the staff here were helpful, kind and full of smiles. Customer service here was terrific throughout. Definitely a must-do whilst in Liverpool.

First off, the bus driver Brendan should be awarded the National Trust employee of the year. He went above and beyond to make sure our visit was legendary. Mendips was being restored but our tour was nevertheless memorable. Our guide at the house offered to let us sing on the enclosed porch where John often sang because the echo made his voice sound better. We spontaneously sang "Love, love me do, you know I love you." It was not only an appropriate way to end our 50th anniversary trip, but we were reminded of the time when we were dating and sitting on the floor listening to the Beatles on a reel to reel.

Stopped by the St. Peter's Church Hall to see where John Lennon and Paul McCartney met in July 1957. While we did not go inside, there is a very nice plaque honoring this important event in music history.

This is across from the cemetery where Eleanor Rigby is buried so this a nice stop off if you are visiting there.

Stopped by here after visiting Strawberry Field to take a photo of the famous tombstone that inspired the song written by Paul McCartney. Very nice to see it in person after seeing it in photos for many years.

Just be sure to be respectful when you do visit as this is the final resting place for many.
