You will find historic pubs and some John Lennon history, plus a big cathedral. - Neil KLiverpool, UK828,830 contributionsThe potential of this district is there but I fear the ambition is not ,when this district started to flourish it looked like this would be one of the must go destinations of the city ,sadly not ,it's looking a bit decrepit and run down ,I'm not talking shabby chic,trendy or hip ,I'm talking really ugly on the eye ,went to Cains Brewery Village on a Friday afternoon ,practically deserted ,most bars and pubs closed till the nighttime arrived ,why promote this venue as a nighttime destination is mind boggling to me , I left the district and headed to the city centre which is just so much better at the moment .Written 5 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
