Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This neighborhood is a pleasant area to walk about, stroll and check out the stores and maybe have lunch. It is residential, old fashioned and has atmosphere.

A very nice part of town and a good place to look for something to eat or drink. We spent little bit of time strolling about and admiring the architecture and the city atmosphere.

This is a beautiful part of the city with lovely townhouses and a great old time atmosphere. You will find historic pubs and some John Lennon history, plus a big cathedral. One of the prettier parts of town.

Avoid . Get to Lime street and go to Manchester. The only thing going for it was the gate. We ordered a sit down Banquet from a restaurant, stuck us where the door open and the draft was terrible. We mentioned it to the waiter, but fell on deaf ears! The food was okay, but the waiters were polite and experienced

The Knowledge Quarter is a great district of Liverpool that's always a joy to visit, architecture here is both modern and old,the most notable landmark feature is the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral but there's also lots of other great buildings to admire, as this district has a huge student population there's lots of great pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants, its a lively, vibrant district that's most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a trip to Liverpool.

St George's Quarter is an absolutely fantastic area of the city that's justifiably famous for its great architecture, buildings such as Sessions Court,Walker Art Gallery, World Museum, Empire Theatre,Liverpool Lime Street Railway Station and of course the beautiful St George's Hall, the area is also a big shopping area with St John's Shopping Centre close by ,there's also lots of pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants plus fast food outlets, all in all its a great district of the city to check out if you're planning a trip to Liverpool.

The potential of this district is there but I fear the ambition is not ,when this district started to flourish it looked like this would be one of the must go destinations of the city ,sadly not ,it's looking a bit decrepit and run down ,I'm not talking shabby chic, trendy or hip ,I'm talking really ugly on the eye ,went to Cains Brewery Village on a Friday afternoon ,practically deserted ,most bars and pubs closed till the nighttime arrived ,why promote this venue as a nighttime destination is mind boggling to me , I left the district and headed to the city centre which is just so much better at the moment .
