Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Walking around the old dock area's of Liverpool there is so much to see,so much great architecture to admire and so much history to take in ,let's not forget that the growth of Liverpool as a city is linked intricately with the development of the docks and the port of Liverpool, one of the most unusual and unique features of the area around the Stanley Dock is the Bascule Bridge .
A wonderful Grade II listed structure, constructed in 1932 ,its a beautiful bridge, its been renovated and has a system of lights attached that shows off the beautiful engineering that went into the building of the bridge, it does look cool when illuminated, it's a bridge that actually featured in some Hollywood blockbusters including Captain America and Sherlock Holmes, if your walking down Regent Road towards the Stanley Dock you cannot miss this superb looking bridge which is most definitely well worth checking out.

This is just another bridge in the docs area - nothing more nor less.
There's nothing unique about it at all.

The Albert Salthouse Bridge in the Albert Dock area of Liverpool.
Preserved bridge from the trading days of Liverpool, now with a modern road bridge next to it.
Nice to see history being preserved.

Walking around the wonderful Pier Head complex I found myself in the Princess Dock area and spotted this wonderful looking modern bridge.
The bridge is so eye catching, the design of architectural student Eduard Ross and constructed in 2001 ,its such an unusual looking bridge, an asymmetrical design with a steel wishbone arch, its quite long, spanning 30 metres, walking through and along the bridge its as though your entering a whales rib cage ,its a very photogenic building, makes for some great photographic opportunities and is most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate along Princess Parade.

When Stanley Park was renovated and tidied up special attention was payed to the Stanley Park Lake and bridge's traversing the lake systems ,Stanley Park Lake Bridge is beautiful and warrants attention.
Constructed in around 1870 when the original park was laid out and constructed from sandstone the bridge had fallen into disrepair to such an extent that the bridge was graffiti covered and some sections had been pushed into the lakes ,during restoration the sections were retrieved from the lake and repaired and what you see today is in all probability what was more or less in place 150 years ago when the Stanley Park Lake Bridge was first unveiled.
Easy to locate in the grounds of Stanley Park and most definitely well worth a visit if you're in the area or planning a trip to arguably Liverpool's most beautiful park.
