Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Only found out about this a few days before our visit to Liverpool.

Didn't book as couldn't be sure of arrival time and also wanted to see what the weather was like.

Turned up and were able to get tickets and were taken up, and entertained, by the lovely Dan - a man who clearly enjoys his job, his enthusiasm came over so strongly.

In the event we were lucky with the weather and had superb views all over Liverpool and over to New Brighton and beyond.

Because of this we took the metro out to New Brighton the following day because we could see the dome of SS Peter&Paul from the Liver building and wanted to see more.

If you are in Liverpool this is not to be missed. Oh and the stairs aren't anywhere near as bad as the website suggests.

We’ve visited this area many times but never found this little gem. Not as big and flashy as the other Beatles sites but worth stopping off and chatting to the dedicated staff who saved the site from being lost. Don’t just take a photo of the street sign go up a little further and visit this site. Small memorabilia shop.

We visited the Liverpool ONE Tourist Information Centre twice during our trip, and each time we were warmly greeted and assisted by Mark. He made our experience so easy and enjoyable! No question was too small or too silly; he answered everything with patience and professionalism. His friendly, down-to-earth approach and great sense of humor made us feel right at home in Liverpool. With his helpful guidance, we had an absolutely fabulous time exploring the city. Thanks to Mark, we truly got the most out of our trip! Highly recommend stopping by for anyone visiting Liverpool.

Stayed nearby so walked through the Albert Docks twice daily, there is a wide range of one off shops selling speciality goods or souvenirs to a shop specialising in fudge & a couple of coffee shops too as well as restaurants such as Madre & Miller & Carter as well as the Pumphouse to name but a few, it’s also home to the Tate gallery & the National Maritime Museum, as well as a few unique food vans such as a yellow American school bus & a converted double decker, at night the fairy lights give it a more magical feel as you’re walking through, felt very safe during the day & night!
