My son had full control of the aircraft for a great deal of time and really enjoyed it. I can see this becoming a regular present idea for christmas' and birthdays. He talked us through warm up, safety, equipment, climbing onto the board, what to do when you fall into the water, how to kneel on the board and get into standing position. How to use the paddle and the techniques required to balance. My Dad and I thoroughly enjoyed the session and we felt we had plenty of time to practice and learn how to do it properly. Thanks to Janek for his patience and for being so professional and welcoming to us as newbies to the sport!
My dad is 69 and loved it and is going to take it up as a retirement hobby. I have a board now and i am thinking about joining Janeks members group!
Would defo book a couple more sessions in to build confidence going forward. The docks was a great location to start off and I will certainly return. They told me the car was ready, but when I landed at Belfast International Airport, there was no car waiting for me, my family, and my child. We ended up stuck at the airport for over 4 hours, and for more than 2 hours, no one answered the phone. Finally, I had to take a taxi to their office, where I met untrained staff who had no respect or compassion. They told me they had canceled my reservation because I was "unreachable," but they never called me or tried to find me at the terminal—this is a lie. To this day, they still haven't refunded my money.
