Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The center of Liverpool's waterfront is the Royal Albert Dock, which is home to cafés, restaurants, pubs, and museums. We had a great time seeing the many museums, which feature everything from pop culture to social history to contemporary art. Something for every individual.

If you’re visiting Liverpool for the culture, this is very worthwhile to do and it’s a free entry. There is a cafe and restrooms and it appears very clean. The staff were friendly and the overall industry theme was interesting. The titanic memorabilia and original letters on display were excellent so if you find this historic event of interest you will be pleased that you called in as this provides you with detailed documentation of the sinking of the ship with pictures and all the news surrounding this.

This was my first visit to the City of Liverpool and this museum was a great introduction to the history and people of Liverpool through the ages.
The museum was both entertaining and informative always a good combination.
We spent quite a while in this museum but not long enough to cover it all, so look forward to going back here on a future visit.
A great start to discovering Liverpool.

Visted as a family. Free entry, suggested donations. Really enjoyed 3 hours here. Restaurant food was nice and well priced. Locked for £2 if you don't want to carry bags around.
    Egyptian exhibition was really good.
    Definitely worth a visit

Everyone loves to come to this street and neighborhood to celebrate the Beatles and Liverpool music scene. You will find the Cavern Club and other music bars and lots of nostalgia. A bit honky tonk.

This is the brand new shopping area, a vast rebuilt area between the center of town and the riverfront. Lots of shops, lots of places to eat, very new. Mostly pedestrian.

Our cruise ship docked here, so we had some time to walk around and drink in the atmosphere along the riverfront. Nice views of the river and of the grand buildings that relate to the shipping industry. Also some statues and street art.

Here the boys are, at the riverfront, paying homage to their home town. Nice street art, and the style is so much like all the other statues of famous people around town. Lots of people taking photos.

This is a follow on from a review I wrote in August 2023. We visited the crypt underneath the cathedral this year Definitely recommend doing g this while you’re there. It’s huge and interesting to read about the original building that had been planned.

A bustling train station with lots of people coming and going. Set on a big open square with an up slope into the station. Cabs and Uber areas are on the side of the station. There are links to city buses. Food and other products for sale inside. Pleasant atmosphere.
