Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is one of the best value engineering tours we have been on anywhere in the world. At eleven pounds, it is an absolute must! Bill and Phil, our guides were outstanding, think Morecambe and Wise. This is a highly recommended insightful tour.

Claire was our driver and her outstanding knowledge of everything to do with the Beatles was second to none. Her attitude and personality with our grandchildren made the tour so enjoyable. I would highly recommend Claire if you are thinking of taking a comprehensive Beatles tour. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon!

Honestly brilliant! Guides (Indiana Bones and James Vagabond) had so much energy and talent for story telling. Despite the weather, they kept the spirits (pun intended) high.

    Would recommend to anyone.

I was in my early teens in the US and in a 4 piece "combo" when the Beatles appeared. We played for dances and their music excited, amazed and influenced us. Getting the tour with Gary going into great details of their individual lives, showing photos of them from that period, hearing how one by one they met, and actually seeing all those places was just incredible and unique. You come away wondering how 4 people growing up so close to each other could create some of the most loved music on the planet. Thank you, Gary, for the great day.

The cycling tour was a great way to see the city highlights while learning about its history. Liverpool can be busy but good thing our tour guide Phil was an expert navigator and made sure we were on the right side of the road and safe at all times!

A MUST go to! After doing all the escapee rooms at Chester’s venue we decided to venture to Liverpool’s Breakout.

The venue is close to all forms of transport, we went by car with Victoria Street car park less than a 5 minute walk away.

Myself and 3 other family members decided to do ‘classified’ and what a game that was! So much fun and there was something for all abilities with the game. Our game host ALEX was brilliant, such a lovely person who made us welcome from start to finish, he played the storyline out so great and even though we needed 3 clues he was brilliant at his wording for us. 4 minutes and 3 minutes to spare! Can’t wait to come again

    Thanks all!

If I could give her 100 stars I would. Jackie is more than a five star guide, and an incredible human being too! My wife and I booked a six hour tour with her - part of a bucket list trip we had planned for years to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We were greeted at our hotel with hugs as if meeting an old friend. Soon, we were in a car with Jackie and her top notch driver Paul for our tour. The level of knowledge possessed by Jackie was immediately apparent and was shared as if two friends were having a conversation.

About 30 minutes into the tour, while walking near the Cavern Club, my wife had a bad fall and was seriously injured. It was clear she required medical attention. Jackie and Paul did everything they could to make sure my wife received the best of care. They helped to keep her comfortable until the ambulance arrived, followed us to the hospital and waited until my wife had been seen and diagnosed (ankle sprain and fractured shoulder). After determining my wife could comfortably sit in the car, we resumed the tour and were still able to see most of the intended destinations.

The care and compassion shown to us by Jackie and Paul will never be forgotten and was so greatly appreciated. They are shining stars and in a city that helped make an unfortunate situation a memorable experience. Many thanks to Jackie and Paul. We can't wait to come back for another visit.

Our tour with Ant and Richy was so much fun! Ant is very knowledgeable about Liverpool and The Beatles. We loved how friendly and welcoming everyone was. Booking this tour was simple, their responses were quick and efficient. We highly recommend using Mop Top Tours. Request Ant if you can! He was the best!

An amazing tour and such a hidden gem of Liverpools past that very much cemented its future. Steph and Simon were our tour guides and their passion and enthusiasm and delivery of the tour was superb and the old doc was simply fascinating…. Thank you both, you are both such a credit to the Maritime Museum

We organised this night out for our U8 football team and they loved it. We went on 13th December for the Christmas night out and it was great from start to finish. Great communication from Sue in the build up and a really good host when we were there. Great with the lads and looked after everything. Good fun for all and would highly recommend. Thanks everyone at Nerf Centre Liverpool

As the lead of the u3a Clitheroe Architecture Group it was arranged that we would have a RIBA tour of the gateway to the world tour taking in significant buildings within the immediate area of the Pier Head. Our guides, Stella and Brian supported by Jen and Jan, were enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable and talked us through the designs and purpose of the buildings. They also were able to recount the history of the city which was icing on the cake. I would thoroughly recommend these tours to any individual or group.

An amazing authentic experience. You are literally stepping into the 1950s earliest Beatles beginnings. There are also many cool original murals painted by the Beatles and friends. The guide Roag Best jr was great too. So nice to hear the real history from a family member.
