It just lacked wide variation in its music choice selection, they have lists of songs you can choose from though only the popular ones in their genre. They have songs from the 70s to 2000 and the latest though only a few I could sing since I don't know much. I don't know much of the old songs that were there though I'm a fan of it. They also have categories to choose from but then again only known songs or popular ones, even if you search the song. I tried the refreshments and it was good, the restroom was superb and clean and the staff were very accommodating. Not long after moving to nearby Walerand Rd at the end of January I soon discovered this absolute gem.
Even though at that time I was enduring a bit of a mental car crash, the distraction of not feeling so isolated was welcome.
Since then I have so warmed to everything about this pub.
The atmosphere is priceless, the crowd is diverse and friendly, the bar staff are fab & when Lisa dishes up free grub, well if I went to a restaurant this would get a five star review!
The pool table takes centre stage & is very popular with regular tournaments = free grub! Dart board teams, juke box, spacious beer garden, resident woof woof & cat, damn reasonable bar prices, regular events including karaoke & dj’s, quirky interesting decor an open fire.
Also unlike Weatherspoons in Lewisham delighted that I can sup a pint in my bare feet, which is a full time lifestyle choice.
What more could one ask for? Big thanks to Pandora who was particularly lovely! Think they were having cloud issues with downloading songs but maybe price have been adjusted in light of this. We booked the night before and they had availability for us and the entry price was very reasonable. When we arrived the cocktails were also on a 2-4-1 offer for the first hour so we all piled those in! The staff were welcoming and showed us how to use the equipment in the booth and were very speedy when we pushed the 'thirsty' button to order more drinks. Can only order from your private room and can’t access the bar because they are in process of replacing the floor- however just hit the thirsty button and they come to you! £17 for two single mixers. Great choice of songs to sing your heart out to!! 2 hours is plenty of time.

Not a soulless, overly polished chain atmosphere, here, you’ll find genuine hospitality and a fantastic night out. If you’re seeking a bland, uniform karaoke bar, this isn’t it.
I must say, it’s a shame some people can never be pleased. My experience here was the exact opposite of those dreary complaints, clean, private, and no foul smells at all. In fact, the only “noise” I encountered was the sound of us singing a bit off-key.

There was a great selection of music and everything was super clean and aesthetically gorgeous.
