Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have had jewellery repaired and valuations carried out by Farringdons Jewellery.
A prompt service and at a reasonable price. They are our first port of call in Hatton Garden.

Enjoyed visiting Alfies Antiques Market, which has a great selection of various antiques from a variety of different periods. Central London location meant may items were at higher prices than I am used to, but I was expecting this and I imagine their overheads must be enormous. I bought a beautiful Danish silver pendant, which I am very pleased with.

Loved the market, to see the range of jewelry, upscale porcelein and silver. The prices are not for the faint of heart, but where else can you buy a tiara?
All of the vendors were friendly, even if you were just window shopping, and I had a good time.

I was blown away by Alfies Antique Market on Church Street. Its full of impressive art deco lamps, a lot of them imported from Paris! Across from Alfies I slso found some really good vintage furniture shops specialising in mid-century furniture.

Not my first visit. Stock always "new" when I visit. Have been looking for a replacement coffee pot in stores, charity shops on line......I found a perfect beautiful one at Fleming Antiques. Magnificent place worth searching out.

Second hand shop, antiques, whatevers, it has so many different things. I've always found something here that I've loved. Almost a museum with the vast range of things you can find in this shop! Fantastic!

Plenty to do and to see . Nicely decorated . Plenty of places to eat and to drink . However most cafes wont have toilets and will direct you to the common facilities However, it is worth noting the toilets cost 1.50 to use. Bring some change with you . This is very expensive considering the high price of food and drink .

So disappointed. The outside was eye catching and the inside was dark and dreary ,room for about four people to shop, most of store roped off. Uninviting and would not go back. I guess you can not judge a book by its cover. Overall feeling that the owners really do not care to run a business.

I visited them to find out information about a document I had inherited and which other dealers hadn't been able to identify.
They were brilliant, identifying the document and telling me about how it had been put together and how common it was at the time of publication (in the late-1880s).
Wonderful service and a really informative visit.

What a gem finding Michael Horner’s Christmas shop was!!!!! So many ornaments we have never had the
Pleasure of seeing & Michael was so wonderful to share the history of every ornament we were interested in!

I am a collector of tree toppers & he ran off to grab a box of his to let me look at & purchase!!! He offered to carefully ship them to the states for me & they arrived in PERFECT condition!!!

Michael is full of the Christmas spirit & he sure will be thought of while decorating every year from here on out!

    Merry Christmas!!!!!!

Also known as Bermondsey Antique Market, this is a regular market of local traders selling a mixture of antiques and collectables. There were a lot of dinner sets, cutlery and jewellery on sale and a few stalls selling clothes and and military memorabilia. I especially like some of the stalls selling coloured glass. Everything that was marked with a price seemed reasonable, but I didn't try to haggle for anything that was unmarked.

Could be a quick or long visit depending on what you're interested in.

Really great find! Can't believe a place like this still exists in London. Great 20th Century pieces in the basement from Designs of Modernity which brought us here via this guys website.. but the other 4 floors are full of amazing furniture from Georgian to 50s and 60s

I spoke to Daniel on the phone, and he directed me to their shop in London, I think it's on Maddox Street in Mayfair, as I did see a few of interest on the website, but killed 2 birds with one stone by visiting the shop whilst going to see a show at the West End. I was a bit blown away by the amount of clocks there in the first place and was shown around the different floors, and was very impressed by the quality of the clocks, and also Daniels knowledge of each one, but some where way out of my price range.

Finally got myself a small bracket clock, and arranged to pick it up on the Monday just before we left. A great antique clock shop right in the middle of London, with very knowledgeable owners, who cant do enough for you really. Would recommend these guys if anyone looking for antique clocks, and I think they have furniture there too.
