I reached out to a number of shops regarding having a bespoke ring made and we went along to our appointments.
Each shop we visited felt like we were being over sold to (think cheesy car sales).
The rings we were shown we nice but we just felt that there was nothing particularly special about any of them.
Our last stop was to meet Vince at Hatton Garden Jewellers. I had read all the reviews and done research on HGJ so knew what to expect. There was no shop front and we were buzzed up to the workshop which was far more relaxing for us in that environment!
Vince was great, he is a mastor of what he does and has a great team working with him. Vince took on our instruction along with our budget and gave us a number of options, we immediately knew we wanted to choose Vince to create the ring. We made a number of follow up appointments to choose our stones, we were talked through the quality v price and learnt alot in our visit.
Vince takes so much pride in his work and will make sure you are 100% happy with your jewellery. We are already looking forward to returning for our wedding bands! So what I loved about Flawless, was the ability to break down what your are buying to really help customise the ring to what you want it to be. The designs of the rings are amazing, the quality and quantity of the Diamonds available really allows you to narrow down your selection to what suits you. The website it simple and easy to use so made the process a breeze
What also really helped was the amazing support available, it was fast and efficient to contact their sales team to discuss options.
I also went a step further to make an appointment to ensure that the options I had selected were best for me. I had an amazing meeting with Daniel, who helped support me throughout the virtual meeting. What could have been a stressful experience was made simple and easy by all the staff, but particularly Sarah-Jane. As a complete diamond novice, I appreciated her advice and guidance, as well as her friendly and enthusiastic approach. We went back to Madisons for the second year running on our yearly trip to Hatton Garden. My partner had remembered Alan wanted to have a look there again. Thats where I found my ring. All the staff are so attentive & went above and beyond to let me take the ring home that day. I had it made smaller and engraved with '21' - whilst we popped to the pub and waited! I really am over the moon and will be popping in to say next time we are in the area. Excellent choice, excellent value and even better service. There is I agree some debate whether it was the original Curiosity shop mentioned by Dickens but when he mentioned it it was due to be demolished to make way for the new. However, some historians state it is the original as plans were changed to enable the building to be kept. Sometimes change is necessary to preserve and some would say its has been preserved whilst surrounding buildings have long gone. As in the vein of OFAH triggers broom no matter with new paint work, door, windows and tiles it is still the same building. Hannah was very patient with our various back-and-forth changes and we never felt pressured to make our purchases (unlike with many other jewellers in the area). For the bespoke band I went with an idea of what I wanted and through discussion with Karl ended up with something so much better. I was so surprised to have Khurram know exactly what I wanted without me having to explain too much. We went for a special gift and knew that this was the place to buy from after the service we received.
Staff are very knowledgeable and also provide great value.
