A bit of local history and stories as well as food history. He had a knack for getting the group to coalesce which made it even more fun. Wonderful day out around Borough Market. I highly recommend it. He took us on an organised & carefully planned out food tour that was insightful to the eye, and the taste buds! Any dietary requirements was also completely sorted out by Kaffe and everything we ate was catered to everyone’s needs! Couldn’t recommend this tour more! And definitely recommend doing the tour with Kaffe! Arthur has deep and vast knowledge of the tour area and I learned so much! We visited several beautiful haunted pubs and learned some spooky and grisly details, then had a pint and chatted. Also, Arthur knows great restaurants in every part of town. It was a very fun and informative afternoon. The seating was comfortable, the staff were attentive, and the food and portions were tasty and generous. The sandwiches, scones, and desserts were fresh, the tea and coffee were hot, and the mimosa was a welcome addition. On the down side, the music was too loud, intrusive, and not fitting to the event. The announcements highlighting various landmarks was a bit pointless as they only identified two landmarks throughout the 1 1/2 hour trip. We had a few leftover food items, and many people around us had even more food on their plates. It would have been appreciated if the servers had offered take away containers.
