Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Neil TFaversham, UK53 contributionsI cannot recommend this experience enough. Gifted to me by my Son in Law, Chris, we were on the brewer for the day 'tour, brew & tutorial'. A full day event where you actually work to prepare a beer ready for sale/distribution. Right up my street. Our host, John Hatch can only be described as the Professor of Beer - he knows everything about the brewing processes, and the science behind it. His enthusiasm for beer holds no bounds. We started a beer which will be available in about a month. We were involved in every stage up to the fermentation. Incredibly in depth and entertaining. As plusses you get a complimentary pint or 2 halves at lunchtime in the neighbouring pizza restaurant in the tap room. In addition to testing a previous brew, you receive a 5L keg of your choice, if available from the beer menu, and hopefully later a bottle of the beer you actually were involved in brewing. As you are 'working' in a food preparation area you are subject to some H&S and hygiene conditions. It is recommended to book 6-8 weeks in advance - If you love proper beer you will not be disappointed.Written 12 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
