Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I went to the BFI for quick meeting, having not gone there for many years. I loved the refurb which looked fresh, contemporary and inviting. We met in the bar area with drink brought from cafe area. Good spot for working as not too loud. We didn’t watch a film or use the Mediatheque but I’ve watched old movies there in the past. Like the look of the Library, the shop and lobby area. Lots of seating and tables and there is disability access and a full restaurant on the Riverside! It wasn’t possible to use the BFI WiFi but we got access to the National Theatre WiFi.

Stepping onto the campus of University College London (UCL) felt like entering a haven of academic excellence and artistic vibrancy. The institution's rich history and global reputation were palpable from the moment I arrived.

The architecture is a blend of classic and modern, with beautiful buildings and intricate sculptures that serve as a testament to UCL's commitment to both knowledge and aesthetics. The libraries are a treasure trove of information, catering to students' intellectual curiosity across various disciplines.

The academic atmosphere is thick, with numerous seminars, lectures, and workshops happening throughout the year. The professors and tutors are not only knowledgeable but also approachable, offering personalized guidance and support.

Beyond academics, UCL's campus life is vibrant and diverse. There are clubs and societies for every interest, allowing students to make friends and engage in extracurricular activities. The food options in the dining halls are diverse, catering to various palates.
I bought a railcard on trainpal and got a 20% discount when I entered the RC777E code! Hope to help those who come to the UK to play~
UCL is more than just an institution of higher learning; it's a community that fosters intellectual growth, creativity, and global understanding.

An interesting thought-provoking place next to SOAS. They have changing exhibitions - well made and very informative. The staff is very helpful. We visited the exhibition "Expelled" in its last days and learned a lot.

Great concept and similar to the nearby Spitalfields City Farm, however a similar review to the one I left for that place, lacking a bit of TLC and needs a bit of a refresh and a bit of love...

Visited for a work event. Great facility, wonderful staff, and a wonderful experience for anyone interested in science, history, or both. My fave was the historical science instruments arranged as art!

Have attended talks here, but think their exhibitions and bookshop really set it out from the rest and showcases the variety of the architecture world.

We visited the 'Forms of Industry' and 'Architectural adventures in mass media' exhibitions'. The first a more delicate comparison of photographic biopsies of industry - like half a container ship, almost Damien Hirst style! The latter an intro to virtual reality and history of architecture's inherent links to forms of communication.

Both were free, accessible and intriguing - everything here seems to project a curation from people fascinated in their work, without being over indulging. The building and area add to this feeling of course. A great place to bring teenage nieces/nephews in considering career ideas I would imagine - or for general interest in the build environment for others.

I had read about the Institute and thought it was a centre for German culture. While it does host German movie showings it is primarily a language school and not ( as I had assumed ) a German tourist information agency..
