Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location is great, very unique on the remains of a fantastic former important family seat. The music, presentation, and acting is always first rate. Very highly recommended.

Such a gorgeous theatre and talented singers and orchestra but hated this dystopian version of The Magic Flute. OK, it highlighted the Masonic aspects of the story but lost all sense of magic in the process. Too many black costumes against a black backdrop. Surely Mozart would not have intended this? It just didn't match up to the luscious music and singing which made us almost forget the lack of legroom in the Upper Circle

I was excited to hear Beethoven's 9th, live at the Royal Abert Hall. The orchestra were amazing but, sadly, the conductor was clearly in a hurry to get home. I have never heard Beethoven's 9th in fast-forward until now. The conductors rapid tempo knocked every ounce of drama, emotion, and suspence from this beautiful piece of music. Very disappointed.
