Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Came here to watch cirque de soleil and what a fantastic show in a stunning venue, was lucky enough to watch this in a private box, really good view from the seats and the food provided was excellent. A tick on the bucket list.

Our tour was led by an exceptionally pleasant guide who orchestrated an unforgettable journey. The experience seamlessly blended entertainment and education, surpassing our expectations despite our initial doubts. I wholeheartedly endorse this tour, rain or shine.

This was a fascinating tour. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting. We were particularly fortunate to see two of the principal ballet dancers rehearsing Swan Lake - so impressive. Would highly recommend this tour.

Our groups sixth visit to the Pantomime. What a great time, good food, great staff, fabulous show, as usual. Left aching because of continuous laughter! Can't wait to see Pinocchio and his Wooden Whopper.
Can't recommend this institution enough. Brilliant day out.

I really enjoyed Plaza Suite and think some of the critics were way off target in their lukewarm or negative reviews. The thing about many British newspaper critics is that the bigger the film star who takes the stage in London, the more likely the critics are to gripe about them. I have seen this time and time again, and I attend 50 or more plays each year in at all sorts of theatres. I didn’t think the play had dated badly, as one reviewer said, or that the acting was staid, or any of the other negative things that some reviewers wrote. SJP and MB acted their parts very well. The audience definitely made a connection with the actors /characters/stories. The play was cleverly written, with lots of humour but also an undercurrent of seriousness. I normally go to "heavy weight," very "high brow" plays: Shakespeare of course, Ibsen, Pinter, Tennessee Williams, Simon Stephens, Annie Baker, Lucy Kirkwood, etc. Plaza Suite wasn't like Macbeth or Leopoldstat or Summer and Smoke, nor should it have been. Neil Simmon has is own style of playwrighting and does it very effectively. I was deeply drawn into each of the three segments, each about a different couple. The character development was good, and I never once looked at my watch. I make a habit of reading reviews only after seeing the play. I just saw the play last night, then read a couple of reviews, and I thought it important to tell other people to be sceptical of the negative reviews. I am very happy to have seen Plaza Suite and to have seen SJP and MB take the stage here in London.

I went to a Christmas concert, full of lovely carols around half of which were audience carols which I very much enjoyed. The quality of the orchestra was great and the singers too (though a surprisingly small choir).
I found it surprising how many miserable looking members of the audience there were ; the tickets are not cheap so it makes no sense to me why people would be there who clearly dislike singing carols!?
In terms of venue the area around it is not appealing and the venue itself is lacking toilets and the ladies were smelling and poorly maintained. But this did not diminish my enjoyment of the concert : )

Diversity: good show, good use of special effects, great dancing
Acoustics, shockingly bad, didn’t hear a clear word and that’s with hearing aids, too much bass when spoken word is used
Palladium: small, uncomfortable, no leg room, grand circle side views miss 1/3 of stage,
    See show locally

We went to Just For One Day. The performance was absolute wonderful. But the ambiance of the Old Vic is just perfect. Beautiful! Good sounds and views. Nice staff and good drinks. All perfect. We'll be back someday :-).

We visited to watch the Lion king and had a wonderful evening. The theatre itself is stunning with some gorgeous features.

We opted to pay a bit extra for the ambassador lounge which really made the evening - we got a table in the lounge where we could leave our coats and it included a couple of drinks (table service), a programme and ice cream during the interval. The staff were lovely and took you down to your seats prior to the show starting.

Enjoyed the play. Bar very busy at Dorfman - needs a better system as was a massive queue. It’s in a great location of course.

Absolutely fantastic show, Wicked. For some reason we'd always put off going to see this show, why j don't know, guess there were always other shows to see. So glad we've been
Staging and costumes absolutely brilliant and don't always get recognised fir the part they play in making a show so good.
Individual performances were outstanding and whole cast excellent.
    Apollo is a great theatre.

I saw the final dress rehearsal for Barber of Seville, which was really funny.I had low expectations since I am used to the Roh and did not expect much.I was blown away by the standard of singing of the soloists especially the soprano and tenor in the main role. Her singing and acting ability was head and shoulders above everyone, she is truly talented.
I felt terrible for the orchestra who were still needing to protest due to the situation they have been put in. Overall despite my dislike of productions being translated into English, I would recommend this hilarious production.
