Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- mark o1 contributionThe food was decent, but the service at the bar from Nancy was fantastic. She was very nice and attentive. A very good deal for what you get.Written 9 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Nick R9 contributionsDecent enough lounge but the food is bloody awful! Would honestly suggest you enjoy the lounge for comfort and drinks and pop downstairs for food!Written 21 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pioneer562182 contributionsWhile it was busy on the day, it did not seem overcrowded and there were enough seats for all. I did not try the food or drink offerings other than a can of 7UP, but people seemed to enjoy the hot buffet and staff were present at all times to clear tables.Written 16 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jacob J-MGreat Malvern, UK54 contributionsThe best business class lounge at Heathrow bar none. I regularly visit the lounges at Heathrow and in my opinion the Cathay Pacific lounge is the best business lounge by far (the reason I say business lounge, the Concorde Room is the best but you need to be in First One World or BA Gold).
The noodle bar is such a great idea and then the bar is always well stocked, the espresso martinis are delicious.Written 1 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The drinks were also restricted. I won’t be using it again.Written 5 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alyssa G5 contributionsYes, the food is FANTASTIC. But, I'm in the Lounge now & it''s too SMALL for the number of people inside, and it's a little claustrophobic, with no natural light. Again, the food, drink & staff are great--it's just too crowded (at least right not). Nowhere near as spacious/airy/pleasant/quiet as any of the newer Delta Lounges in the US.Written 24 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael OLichfield, UK804 contributionsUnsurprisingly we found a very busy Virgin Lounge although there were still spaces in what is a large area. It always beats having a 'crushing' experience in the public areas. Ordering is electronic and pretty efficient and the food well presented and tasty. The service is pretty smart and the flight alerts are efficient and effective. There are obviously plenty of people happy to pay the price of the Virgin upper Class experience.Written 11 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - writerandphotographerAsheville, NC15 contributionsI would give Singapore Airlines a five star on the reviews and the service of the flight attendance.
However, I have only given it three stars because I have flown in first class and flatbed seats for several decades and I have never been in a flatbed seat that I couldn’t stretch out in and I’m only 5‘6“! That would mean their flat beds are not quite 5‘,6“ long! That is way too short for most men and a lot of women!
So when one is paying thousands of dollars extra to have a flatbed which one can’t stretch out it is very annoying ! Particularly when we were on the 18 hour flight from Singapore to New York, very intense!Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. NOTE priority pass have access to the the main lounge however you will have to pay to reserve a slot. (pointless)
Priority pass has become a complete waste, mines is complimentary and I choose not to use it. Its only useful if your are looking to have cheap free alcohol, so not that great. Food is dire the thai curry tasted like washing up liquid staff are mediocre and mostly to be found hiding in the kitchen area. its a poor start to a holiday and an embaresment to the brand. Their website is misleading.Written 28 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
