Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- John CHarrogate, UK36 contributionsThis was a great flying visit. It’s a must visit ‘tourist’ destination. It was busy, but I guess that should be expected.Written 2 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Diane S1 contributionI went to Borough Market for the first time this week, it was a great atmospheric Aladdin's cave of culinary delights.
On recommendation I had 'The Special One 'sandwich from The Black Pig. A bit pricey at £12 but did it live up to the hype? Absolutely, it was a delicious, melt in the mouth delight of succulent pulled pork, apple slaw and scummy relish on a quality ciabatta . I took half of it home for later.Written 2 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Its free and you do need to book tickets but its well worth the effort.Written 30 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rizzoyoshi24 contributionsObviously the museum is amazing with so many interesting and incredible exhibits. The only things that let it down, were how crowded it was - it really is hard to get near some of the exhibits due to the number of people in the museum and the Vault was closed, which we had been looking forward to seeing.Written 1 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mrstraveller1York, UK2,174 contributionsOn at the NG until 19th January 2025, and marking its bicentenary, this exhibition brings together 60+ pieces, some rarely on public display. All are from the period 1888 to 1890 which includes the year Van Gogh spent in an asylum in Saint-Rémy and up to his death in 1890. It is such a worthwhile see, and thankfully, the generously proportioned rooms in which it is displayed, meant that, on our visit at least, it wasn't too much of a bunfight, despite the clamour for tickets. Plan ahead as it is sold out on many days, but if so, you do have the option of becoming a member of the NG (£68/£78) which permits entry at any time. It also means you have access to the members entrance - thereby bypassing the potentially enormous non-members queue (100's long on the day of our visit).Written 2 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lauraNottingham, UK99 contributionsVisited London for the day with my daughter as she wanted to do the Taylor swift exhibition. When we arrived it wasn’t very busy at all, the exhibition was located across didn’t parts of the museum which was nice and we got plenty of photos. The staff were a little bit annoying moving us on quickly but apart from that it was a good experience. The museum was huge and if you’re into museums I can imagine it would be a fantastic day out.Written 2 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dominika S1 contributionWe have just returned from a Tour of Parliament. Amazing experience. We paid a bit extra for a guided tour. Our guide Nick was awesome, had great sense of humor, was really entertaining and during the 90 minute tour all in the group were listening to every word, he said. Thanks to the headphones, everyone could hear him clearly and didn't have to rush behind him, it was really comfortable. The tour completely exceeded our expectations and I recommend it. Great experience.Written 2 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- arpitamGurugram (Gurgaon), India1,064 contributionsThe largest cathedral in London opens its doors for one and all. The grandeur of the premises as well as the inner sanctum is magnificent. The cathedral offers admission tickets for various activities. One needs to plan the trip beforehand to enter and spend some time climbing up the dome and enjoy the vista.Written 31 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Fancy the skull of a museum-quality Triceratops? It’s downstairs, for sale among the Rolexes and Piagets. Too expensive? Then perhaps something from the chocolate hall, of which Willie Wonka would be proud. But shopping at Harrods requires a Golden Ticket.Written 26 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Wayne YendleNewport, UK22 contributionsRecently, we had the privilege of attending the David Gilmour concert. This marked our inaugural visit to the esteemed Royal Albert Hall, and it proved to be an unforgettable experience from the moment we stepped through its doors. The courteous and friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure that this evening would be truly special for my wife and me.
We had opted for the VIP Experience, and it exceeded all expectations. Upon entering the Elgar Room, we were warmly greeted with refreshments and escorted to our table. The exceptional staff demonstrated utmost professionalism and graciousness throughout the evening, catering to our every need with remarkable efficiency. The culinary offerings were exquisite, further enhancing the overall experience.
As the time approached for the concert to commence, we made our way into the magnificent hall. The grandeur of the venue left us awestruck, and our seats, remarkably close to the stage, elevated the evening to new heights. The concert itself was simply breathtaking, leaving an indelible mark on our memories.
In conclusion, our first visit to the majestic Royal Albert Hall was an extraordinary experience that we will cherish for years to come.Written 27 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
