Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were really lucky to have beautiful weather and some breathtaking vistas. We bought the tickets online via TripAdvisor and entered without any issues. I would highly recommend doing this, especially when you are first visiting London and want to see the attractions you want to see from above.

The National Gallery is an exceptional treasure trove of visual delights spanning centuries of fine art and is definitely one of the best free things to do in London.

It’s location adjacent to Trafalgar Square attracts a lot of tourists and can feel overcrowded especially in the afternoon but that can be avoided by making an early start and viewing the best exhibitions via shorter visits spread over several days.

Definitely a must-do in London for everyone who enjoys visual stimulation.

Even after hundreds of visits over many decades, Covent Garden and the surrounding streets have a magnetic quality that keeps attracting us back to enjoy the architectural and gourmet delights amongst a multicultural crowd throughout the whole year.

The are hundreds of eating options in the area and a simple street cart on the south side of the plaza serves the best Egyptian Style Falafel wraps freshly prepared and served with a smile. Try once and you’ll be back for more.

Well worth booking ahead and braving the crowds. Not only is it a magnificent architectural treasure it provides a review of our English history. Take time to look at the many monuments to people who changed our world and go up to the new gallery at the top with its incredible views down into the Abbey as well as its fascinating artifacts.

Hyde Park is a perfect escape with its lush green spaces and serene lakes. Ideal for a relaxing stroll or picnic, it offers a peaceful break from the city. A must-visit for its beauty and calm.

We have been to London many times but never visited St. Paul's Cathedral. We have missed a treat. Beautiful inside with so much history. So much to see and learn. Also we had no idea about the Whispering Gallery nor the further many many steps to the very top. Absolutely fantastic and well worth the very many steps it is to get there. Well worth a visit for sure.

    Fascinating and innovative.
Enjoyed all the rooms apart from the abstract art room which was a bit boring.
    Would recommend a visit

Thank you to our guide Dan who was such a great host - friendly, funny and encouraging. Half way up, our 9 year old got a bit nervous and Dan came to the rescue. A quiet little pep talk and within seconds our son was happily going for it again. We got some fun facts of the view and plenty of time at the top to take photos and have a drink (was so glad to have ordered the drinks to have at the top as it was such a hot day!). The guy at the till on entry was also a bright, friendly chap which was very welcoming. It was a spontaneous trip so we were so pleased it turned out to be a wonderful experience to remember, thank you Dan and team.

Wow! Had seen the proms on the TV and never imagined I would get a chance to go. Bit, with a doctor who made 8 year old we couldn't miss doctor who at the proms! Firstly, it's really easy to find. Secondly it's a beautiful building inside and out. Third the staff were friendly and helpful. Fourth the seats (we were in a box) were incredible! Food was a tad expensive but not unexpected and you could get it delivered to you. View was almost perfect with a pillar in the way in one direction but didn't take away from the performance. All round, I would recommend the venue as a bucket list event!

This place is amazing. We walked passed the shops and park going to the Royal Observatory, Queen house and Maritime Museum. Our son loved it. It is beautiful, so much to see and do, you would not think you were in London. Definitely recommend going and visiting.

I used Regents Park the previous day to walk to and from the Zoo, but the weather was horrendous.
I walked back to the park the next morning after breakfast on a Sunday morning quite early, and apart from dog walkers and joggers it was very quiet.
As you would expect from a Royal Park, the area is very well laid out with ornamental fountains, follies and lots of plants and trees.
It was so peaceful, I felt like I was in the countryside as opposed to the centre of London. Definitely worth a visit, but I only stayed there a short while as I had a flight to catch.

The park is really lovely. Though I've been to London many times, this is the first time I walked over here. London has such wonderful parks and this is one of them, with Kensington Palace also here with the Diana statue and other monuments scattered about.

Lovely artworks in this museum that isn't as well known as some in London but is well worth a visit. Lots to see and entry to the permanent collection is free. Lovely café and restaurant serving excellent food.
