The bridge itself is an amazing feat of engineering. This time we went to the museum at the foot of the bridge. Really friendly & knowledgeable staff member on site who engaged the teenager in our party enough to ask questions (no mean feat). We learned so much about the history of the bridge and its importance in the economy of Middlesbrough at the time. We were given lots of time and also pointed in the direction of where we could find more old films of the Middlesbrough area history. Well worth a visit.

My family and I LOVE Rosebery topping and it has some if the best views. There is parking at the base, and public toilets and usually an ice cream van also at the bottom. It sadly isn’t wheelchair accessible as there are steps and a little bit of rocks near the summit. There views are lovely and around half way up is a beautiful woodland with lots of lovely flowers. There are loads of other walks in the area as well which are just as good!

We don't normally leave reviews of visits to NT properties, but wanted to do so for here, after our visit yesterday. What made it special for us were the volunteers. Every one of them was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and welcoming. I'm sure they say much the same thing many times a day, but it didn't seem like it.

Must be twenty years since visiting the museum. The local history and natural history were as I remembered and just as engaging. What I did not expect was the new Christopher Dresser and Linthorpe Pottery rooms on the first floor. This is a stunning museum display covering the man and his influence. The display of pottery is breathtaking. Bravo.

Under-rated because it is off the beaten path. It has some nice areas of lawn if you want to picnic and some trees/ponds if you like to throw food at ducks.

The museum is great and really hand in the middle of the park. It also has a great cafe right near it with great food. Its gift shop is really affordable and they have great activities on upstairs in the holidays for kids. The museum has loads of cool rooms and they sometimes have people in to do kids talks in the rooms. They also sometimes have story times which is amazing. I definitely recommend this if you are looking for a great family time!

A lovely open green space for a dog walk, generally well kept but a bit rough around the edges. The big showpiece fountain wasn't working and looked like it hadn't been for some time as there was no water in it at all, and the toilets are locked up October - March according to the sign (do they think people only pee in the summer?).
