Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have taken my 4 grandchildren to the white water experience and they have enjoyed it both times very much. I did not partake but was confident they were in safe hands throughout. They experienced rafting, tubing and paddle boarding. Fantastic venue for all the family whether watching or participating. The bonus is some welcome food and drink at the friendly cafe.

We hired Knotweed from Grand Union Narrowboats as a family for a Monday to Friday break. We were extremely impressed with their level of service from start to finish. On arrival we were shown to the boat and where to park our car. The boat was very well maintained and spotless inside. Steve and his team were all very friendly. They showed us through the boat and explained to us how everything worked. We left the boatyard feeling confident and well prepared for our holiday. When we returned, Steve and his team were all ready to assist in mooring up our boat and checked how everything had been. It had been excellent!

We would definitely hire a narrowboat from Grand Union Narrowboats again and would highly recommend them to anyone interested in going on a narrow boating holiday.

The briefing was very thorough and the equipment was well organised. The staff we all excellent. We paddled to Higham Lock which took about an hour, had a picnic by the lock, then returned back along the river and across the lake. It was quite enough for my two kids aged 10 and 12, so I'm glad we didn't continue past the lock after lunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and will book for next year.

spent 4 nights here. It was an 'on-site. We booked a lakeside pitch we don't fish but like the waterside location. Its a one way round the lake so lots of cars going past to get to their pitch not really a problem, but we were in the heatwave so everything covered in a cloud of dust with each vehicle that passed. Hardstanding pitch very rough type 1 base but adequate. Went into the lovely Market Harborough what a great town, with many supermarkets and lovely old fashioned market. Had the Sunday Lunch at the Cafe which was ok, but very hot as we were in the marquee in 38 deg but even hotter outside. It was a nice stay but don't think we would return as pitch basic had to hunt for the waste water outlet. Nice adult quiet site but spoilt by sooooo many happy dogs!

What a great afternoon out. We had a lovely time at Stoke Bruerne. It is so pretty & picturesque by the canal side * it was great to be booked on Charlie. The boat ride into the Bismuth Tunnel was amazing.
    Really enjoyed our day.

What a brilliant day! We absolutely loved our narrow boat day out with Martin & Kay.

We were really excellently instructed on how to steer the boat, there was plenty of time for relaxing and taking in the scenery, it’s a fantastic length trip with the option to stop at a pub for lunch, gorgeous traditional narrow boat run by lovely people

    Absolutely amazing

Great experience making paddle-boarding really accessible to anyone. Steph made us feel really welcome and gave us some great tips on where to paddle and all the equipment was super high quality. I can't recommend highly enough.

My grandkids took part on the aqua park when we were camping at grendon lakes. They had a great time. we thought the staff were friendly and helpful. The kids had a fantastic time- it was for her granddaughters birthday so was happy to pay the £15 a head, otherwise I think its a little dear. Would recommend.

I took my husbands oxygen tank here for a service when the Milton Keynes shop we used to use closed down. I rang in advance to make sure they could do the service we wanted, the photo manner of the chap I spoke to was very good, he was very Helpful and informative.

I travelled over and dropped the tank, the staff were helpful and came out to my car to help me unload the tank.

All servicing was carried out to the standard expected and it was done in a timely manner. Great service and helpful staff mean that we will use them again.
