He took particular care and made the 90-minute tour fly by. (We heard a very dry tour as we were passing another group and were glad we chose a family friendly one.) We spend a good 15 minutes alone looking at and talking about the statue of Rhodes.

The route was clearly marked out on a map and the mobile phone location satnav showed exactly where you were and where you needed to be heading. - Nicky J5 contributionsWe really enjoyed this tour! Tim was friendly, relaxed, communicative and very knowledgeable about Lewis and Tolkien. He told us stories about them and walked us around Oxford to see places where the two academics had lived, studied, worked and socialised. I appreciated that Tim discussed with us at the start where we would go and told us his objectives for the tour. Thank you for the wonderful tour you gave us yesterday. I learned a lot about the history and culture of the city. You were very knowledgeable and engaging.
However, I have some suggestions on how you could improve your tour for future guests. First, I think it would be nice if you could show more photos of the places and people you mentioned, such as the clothing they wore in the 1700s, the grave in the church, or the bishops. It would help us visualize the stories better and connect with them more. Second, I think you could make your tour more interesting by telling the stories in a more narrative way, rather than just stating facts. You could use more details, emotions, and suspense to make us feel like we are part of the history.
Other than that, I really enjoyed your tour, especially the dark and narrow streets and alleys. They gave me a sense of the atmosphere and mystery of the city.
