Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The last time I was there was 2017 and since then they have expanded plant variety-wise, have put more information signs about certain plants and placed a few lovely sculptures including Cheshire Cat.
Definitely visit only in warmer seasons as they charge the same price regardless of the month and there is a lot more to see between May-September times.

Walking along Turl St stopped to admire the lovely façade of the college. It is the fourth oldest and was founded in 1314 by the Bishop of Exeter and his brother. Hence its name.

Later saw another part, namely Cohen Quad in Walton St that was acquitted by Exeter in 2008 as the then primary location of Ruskin College.

I visited St John's College for the first time as a Master's student in Oxford roughly 12 years ago and I enjoyed my recent second visit with a friend as much as the first one. St John's is one of the richest Oxford colleges and it has a beautiful 16th century chapel. The college site contains several quadrangles with buildings ranging in age from late medieval to 21st century. St John's was founded more than 450 years ago and it boasts many famous alumni, including former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, the poet Robert Graves, the novelist Kingsley Amis, and the classical scholar A. E. Housman.

Even though there were quite a number visiting the abiding atmosphere was that of tranquillity and remembrance.

It was inaugurated in 1926 to honour those that had their lives taken during the horrific WW I.

Can be quiet at time, enjoy always a walk there. You can jog, play tennis, private personal trainers sessions, Zumba, you see all sorts of activity going on. There is a ethical Flo cafe’ if you want some refreshments. Check out the closing time especially in winter time

Paradise Garden is a lovely tranquil stretch near the major Westgate Centre. Dating from around 2017 it is the work of William Cobbing.

A series of seven monumental stone boulders stand upright. Inset in each are depictions of herbal plants once grown in the locality.

The artwork also resonates with the rich history and archaeology of the area of Greyfriars Place, including the Franciscan Monastery that was here for centuries. It gave its name to the pleasant space.

Over the past half-century much archaeological excavations and research have uncovered valuable knowledge and a broad range of artefacts.
