Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- FarAway181362204044 contributionsAmazing place! Partner booked the meerkat experience for my birthday and it was incredible - keeper was lovely and even had seats for us to sit on so didn’t get too dirty in enclosure - meerkats were brilliant, very friendly and happy to be stroked while eating - great price too compared to other zoos. Highly recommend a trip! Especially in Dec as they’ve got treasure trails with stamps!Written 6 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Win TaskBedford, UK2,250 contributionsIt’s free then why not. Visited it on a beautiful sunny day. The gardens are magnificent. Plenty of people enjoying sitting on green space and meditating themselves. The downside was that the cafe was full packed. Plenty to see here specially glass house. Flower beds were at their peak. Making a rainbow on gardens ground. Love nature so i had an amazing time there. There’s no parking so careful or either you can park at Wetherspoon pay and display just few minutes walk from Garden. Worth a visit.Written 27 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

There are tropical trees and plants and some sculptures of animals and it is great for all ages.
It is free to enter and you can sit and eat your lunch or just feel at peace in here.

I attended on a dedicated theme day of the 40s excellent venue which requires a further attendance to fully appreciate all the fantastic exhibitions over three floors. I would definitely recommend a visit the entry fees are reasonable and value for money I will definitely be visiting again soon. A big thank you to everyone who helped to make the day so memorable.Written 3 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MinnieM1928Cambridgeshire, UK470 contributionsGood shopping centre for Christmas Shopping. There is a good choice of stores, restaurants, coffee shops and a great food court where we had dinner. The centre is set over two levels and it was easy to navigate.Written 18 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gaynor K45 contributionsVisted yesterday for the second time. Last time was 2 years ago. I highly recommend this beautiful place. Many pathways ..some of which are accessible on a mobility scooter.. tons of hidden little places and fantastic for dog walkers. Our Jack Russell loves water and it's safe in many places her to let her play. There is a children's play area, Toilet facilities..including disabled ones, picnic areas and a great cafe which is open 7 days a week all year round. In addition to this there is a brilliant splash, paddling pool area with water features which is completely free.Written 12 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - geraldine c8 contributionsWhat a fabulous birthday treat. The alpacas were charming and characterful as were the lovely volunteers who made the trip even more special.
The trek itself was interesting and showcased some beautiful scenery. - Margaret BSheffield, UK8 contributionsWe went to see A Dolls House at the Crucible Theatre this evening. The play was brilliant with an innovative set and great performances from the small cast, especially Siena Kelly as Nora.
What made it extra special though was that we booked the pre show dinner in the Crucible Kitchen. Great value for 3 courses and a drink and they e mail the menu so that you can choose beforehand. This means your food is ready soon after you arrive and there is plenty of time to eat before the play. Friendly staff and quick service. The food was very good and beautifully presented. Would recommend.Written 27 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Large fields ideal for dog walking and training of reactive dogs. Woodlands for peaceful relaxation. A lake for some lovely views and bird watching. (I see the parakeets have made it to Sheffield now)
There is also an animal park but I've not visited that since before the pandemic so it's difficult to comment on. It was lovely when I went before though and brought back fond memories of a similar place I went to as a kid :)
Parking is free in some places and charges in others so watch out for that. If you don't mind a little walk then parking roadside around the area is ample.Written 10 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
