Been here many times before including when I was a child on a school trip.
My children love this place. It’s both fun and educational. We came for the Christmas special this year but prefer it when it’s a normal day in the town.

The lady in the tollhouse was very helpful, she told us all about the museum and the walks around and showed us the leaflets. Loved the Iron bridge and the village with the shops. We went for one of the walks. Pleasant and enjoyable morning visit.

We bought a Pass Plus ticket and fitted in 4 museums in 2 days. We more than covered the cost as it included free parking (normally £1 per hour) and discount on purchases in the shops and restaurants, and better still is valid for 12 months.
The museums are all located in original working buildings, are well laid out with clear information, and the staff/volunteer helpers were all friendly and helpful
    Excellent value for money!

We went to the museum because we had it included with our Blists Hill ticket. Friendly greeting on arrival and offered a tour of the site.

Steve Hudson who did our tour spent two hours telling everything there was to know about the history of the factory, china and it’s manufacture. Interesting and friendly, I would recommend. Thank you.

Easy parking, pay at machine on way out.

We visited today and my 8 year old enjoyed it. We used our pass plus card which represents excellent value, having also used it at Blists Hill, the China museum and the Ironbridge Gorge museum, as well as getting free parking at all of the above and a 10% discount in the shops and cafes.
While I can understand what other visitors are saying about not wanting to pay full price when things are broken, I expect some of the exhibits get broken frequently by rough treatment (going by what I witnessed today, whilst adults looked on with indifference). Also, heritage sites are charities and need to charge full price in order to fund repairs.
The welcome at all of the Ironbridge sites we have visited have been excellent and informative, and the volunteers we have encountered have been very friendly and helpful. Very impressed by the group of museums and really glad we bought the pass. Will definitely be back to use it again.

My wife and I wandered in and found ourselves in a treasure trove of gin and whisky. Endless choice of new, unusual and rare spirits, and an enthusiastic and knowledgeable host to help us navigate it all. Plenty of scope to try before you buy, too. We left with a bottle each and we'll be back for more!

Such an interesting place with a compelling story from heyday to decline of an industry…. Personal stories of the workers and a glimpse into how the factory was left when it closed its doors is mesmerising….as well as being able to watch clay pipes being made! Fantastic.

We visited the museum we were already told that it only had a few exhibits there due to it being refurbished recently. We enjoyed the visit though & the back part of the museum was in the water, it had risen so high.

They had Shropshire Gold!! The first lovely ale we had in the town. And they allowed us to bring our chips to the pub while we drank which was very kind.
Young man on his own did an amazing job running around doing everything himself. We thought he was a hard working, kind young man
It's small. 10-15 people and it's full and only 1 toilet, but they had decent ale :)

Worth a stop and look, lovely area behind to picnic. Pay and display machine was not working when we visited but worth checking. Spoke to some local people who recommended the pub at the top of the gardens but be aware plenty of steps involved.

The walk gives you a feeling of the area before the new town of Telford existed and that's not long ago
