Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- David MCambridge, UK1,922 contributionsMy wife's rather a keen cook and we can't go to Bath without a visit to the quirky, rambling shop that is Rossiter! Lots of odd little gadgets (as well as the more obvious items) and they seem to have just about everything you could need for a kitchen. Worth a visit if you (or your partner) is remotely interested in this sort of stuff. (and tolerable if, like me, you aren't really that bothered!)Written 22 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SamPadstow, UK2 contributionsDecent shopping centre. Was staying at nearby Travelodge City Centre and it fulfilled my afternoon whilst waiting for the train home.Written 26 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - evanstj5Bath, UK6 contributionsJolly's glory days are gone. Not so much a department store, as such. Like so many once famous and distinguished names, Jolly's is in fact a collection of separate boutiques and counters - mini stores under one roof. Wait for the sales, you might pick up a bargain. Otherwise it's pricey.Written 23 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
