Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife bought me a 'fudge making experience' as a birthday present. And I have to say what a fabulous and fun morning, full of delicious fudginess, it was. Ian and Natty were great value, funny and certainly knew their fudge, making the experience truly memorable. If you love fudge, have a free couple of hours and don't mind getting a bit sticky, this is for you!!

Visiting this book shop is an absolute joy. The selection of books is amazing, and the staff clearly care deeply about books and matching people to the right stories. The personalised subscription they offer is very reasonable for what it is, and the whole place has a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. Wish I lived closer so I could visit more regularly!

This is a beautiful open air shopping centre. It has a huge car park. We found it near the Bath Spa Station across the Brunel Square. It contains quaint shops like My Small World Toys and an old style sewing machines shop. Plus there are huge stores like Debenhams, Curry’s, Apple and Mac. I really loved that the beige building is built to match the historic town. The mall was beautifully decorated with a butterfly roof and flower motifs.

Having just finished a refurb of the family home, we decided to commission a painting for our entrance hall. We're familiar with Emma's work and her use of colours, and we really wanted to work with an artist who could embrace the pallet close to the colours we'd used within our home. Emma was a delight to work with, incredibly accommodating and really receptive to feedback. We were able to visit her at the studio to watch the painting evolve, which she did as a nod to a horizon. We're super pleased with the welcoming and warmth her interpretation gives to our home.

As a lover of books particularly the physical variety it was so gratifying to visit such a beautiful bookshop. Having relocated here only a few years ago it now offers the fabulous number of over 75000 volumes.

Impressive indeed. As is the great repurposing of a grand building from 1817. Designed as a Masonic Hall it had been used as a Meeting Room for Religious Society of Friends for almost 2 centuries.

Over a couple of floors it was fabulous browsing amongst the vast number of tomes.

I cannot thank the staff in this shop enough for being so understanding and helpful when we visited with a lad from our care home yesterday. He was shown how different toys work and allowed to touch and play with them without any sales pressure. Such a lovely way for him to experience shops.

Went here in early June 2015, and loved the selection of beers and other items for sale. Came back the day after my first visit as they were having a special lunch event, and enjoyed a ploughmans' lunch type meal. Quality food and drink, and reasonable prices.

Hopefully they are still open (I saw another user's review that they may be closed), as I definitely recommend a visit!

We had the good fortune to find this charming knitting store on our recent visit to Bath as we were wandering down the street from our hotel. The owner was so enthusiastic about her shop and craft that I could see what made the shop such a fantastic place. If you didn't knit when you entered, you would want to learn for sure. The yarns were well displayed, organized and the knitted samples inspiring.

Was recommended to visit here by people who film historic dramas for some real period lighting for a high end property we were working on - and it is an Aladdin's Cave of gems! The owner was a lovely lady who gave valuable advice as well as insight into the interior decorating we had planned.
All lights were tested and she even allowed us to take some away with us that we were not sure would work visually on a sale or return basis.
We've since been back a few times for some large tapestries and some more lights.
    Hugely helpful and knowledgeable

I was served last Sat by a very warm gentleman, he helped me select the chocolates for two little boys (mainly milk selection which was delicious!) and kindly offered me to try couple of my favourites ones (dark). Such a warm experience and delicious products, I have ended up placing an additional order for delivery in London. Would really recommed the place.
