- Vacationer2485211 contributionMy partner and I loved our e-bike tour with Bath EBike hire! The process to rent the bikes was smooth, as was bike pick up. We had a blast on the two tunnels route. I had visited Bath several times in the past but had never experienced it in such a unique and adventurous way. - Sunil C1 contributionPoor customer experience with the web-site quoting different T&Cs to that in operation in the shop. Web-site says ÂŁ200 deposit, yet they tried to take ÂŁ250, which I had to stop.
I had to visit the shop beforehand to work out what type of bike I was going to get as the web-site doesn't make it clear. When I visited, they were rude and told me to go home and book the bike online, "as that is what I will do anyway". What?
Within minutes of picking up the bike, the stand fell off and then the chain started to slip. Now I face a dispute with them as they claim that the ebike was "in working order" when it left the shop.
There's a complete lack of people skills, little customer courtesy and a chance of an expected financial outcome. Hiding behind "the web-site says that we will respond in 48 hours" says it all.
