Easy path up and a fabulous view of the greeest county in the UK. So much ancient history within the view. I don't particularly buy into the Avalon myth but this place has certainly had a special place in history.

Lovely peaceful spot, I’ve been coming to the chalice well gardens for years with my family, especially around the summer solstices. During these weekends there’s things like massages, acupuncture, card readings and wand making available for people, this is lovely. The garden itself is lovely and peaceful either the water running all the way through the grounds.
In the summer you’re surrounded by lovely flowers and wells. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful day!

The grounds are huge and you could easily spend a few hours here.
The guided walk was factual and informative.
There is so much to do in Glastonbury I wish I had longer.

It was the first time here and was aware of the temple and what you can see/do.
I also asked the volunteer at the door about what the place is about who did mention there could be nudity however everyone is welcomed to experience it how they wish.
After a walk around inside I wanted to get in but wasn't brave enough. a gentleman was getting dressed after taking the plunge in his natural state, I waited till he was dressed and asked if he minded me asking him about it. he was open and kind then left me to it and after the chat I decided to get in with undies on!
I wasn't in long as the cold is like an electric shock! but my god I felt amazing after so much so that I convinced my partner to do it with me the next day ( by the way which is totally out of his comfort zone) yes there was people clothed but also naked but if you go for your own experience this just melts into the background.
Also a tip on entering let your eyes adjust as very dark and wet under foot.

I can only end by saying you only live once just try it.

We have just spent 3 hours at this Interesting museum on a wet and windy day

I learnt so much about life past and present in Somerset

Many years ago I lived in Cheddar and it was great to learn more about this county

The exhibits are all well documented and the videos put things in perspective

Seeing the Tor from one of the windows was spell binding

    The cafe is excellent

The Goddess Temple is a favourite place of mine to visit. It's a sanctuary of rest, meditation, prayer, whatever you need. It doesn't matter what your religion is, your beliefs are. Everyone can visit.
It's lovingly cared for and you can ask the Melissa guarding the temple on the day for a cleansing smudging while you're there.
If you're interested, check out the website for possible evening events at the temple. There can be pathworking / meditations etc. which are a wonderful experience.

I got a necklace from here. It is beautiful and so lightweight to wear. Would definitely recommend. I exchanged the necklace for a longer length and Rachel was a pleasure to deal with. Very prompt service. Thank you!

What a magnificent Abbey this must have been in its heyday, the building is to say the least huge. Covering acres of ground a great place for the children to run off their excessive energy and for a picnic.

Wonderful crafts and wonderful area to explore.

Bring your bike and cycle from Glastonbury if you want to experience the wide expanse and very flat easy cycling that the levels provide

Avalon Archaeology is next door so plenty to see and do.
