  • The ranking of tours, activities, and experiences available on Tripadvisor is determined by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, the frequency of user clicks, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful trip with our guide Oz who transported us to ancient Britain with the amazing Stonehenge and regaled us with stories of the Legendary King Arthur and the Beautiful town of Glastonbury.

Our guide, Nick, was very knowledgeable and engaging. Our driver was pleasant, but about 15 minutes late and we had to stop for fuel, so the tour fell behind a bit. All of the sights were great, but it felt rushed and we weren't able to spend as much time as we would have liked, especially in Glastonbury. The Chalice Well is pretty amazing and well worth your time. Avebury is interesting, but it is at the end of a long day tour. Unfortunately, England was experiencing a heat wave the day we went, so it was physically taxing, which was certainly not the fault of the tour staff! My advice would be to do a tour of Stonehenge and Glastonbury so that you can see these in a more leisurely way. All in all, we had a wonderful time and we are very glad we went!

We were a group of 5 ladies taking the sites in Somerset and Bath. Matthias is a perfect guide. He has a wealth of knowledge and took great care of us. As you can see from my photos, it was quite a soggy day but Matthias manage to keep the spirits high. And even sang a beautiful song in front of Glastonbury Abbey thorn tree. Wells cathedral is not to be missed. The architecture is spectacular and we even got to hear the bells ring and watch its famous clock come to life. We were very comfortable in his car and Matthias is a very safe driver. He also had umbrellas for us. He took care of everything. We were all very happy with Matthias and with what we we saw and experienced. I would definitely book his tours again.

Tor is the perfect guide for an immersing experience in the Heart of Glastonbury. He not only displays a vast knowledge of the history of the town, but he also has a deep understanding of the spirit of it. Great sense of humour, too! Just loved it.

I had a beautiful and enlightening walk with Matt. A wonderful creative and personable individual, who opened my mind in new ways to the personality of trees., as well as intriguing facts and possibilities regarding the history of the area. The tour personally adapted to my slower walking pace, was sprinkled with Matt’s enchanting poetry, prose and music. He kindly allowed me to include my own music and voice. A unique and magical experience.

Bless Kate Rivett for so many reasons! She was full of information and fun. It was nice she didn’t talk on and on, let us take in the view. She took us to a lot of great places, and made unique out of the way stops. She also helped me personally when my luggage got lost, and worked on the phone so I could enjoy Stonehenge. I appreciate her going beyond to help me!

This was our first “coach” tour, on a Go Tour mini bus.
Driver Len was lovely and took is to some “surprise” places that were cool. He stayed polite and cheerful with a rather difficult group too!
Bus seats were ok, a few said they uncomfortable, too hard.
The tour gave a great snapshot of the Cotswolds and Cornwall stopping first at Stonehenge for a quick look (that’s all that is needed) then to Salisbury & Lyme St Regis. Each day was about the same, 3-4 stops, some quick some for like 2 hours, all interesting and beautiful.
My word of caution is Do NOT choose the B&B option! White Hart Inn in Exeter is so gross!(dirty, old carpet, smelly bathroom and lumpy mattress) while Mercure Hotel is FANTASTIC! Lugo Rock B&B in Falmouth is Clean and hostess is lovely, but lumpy mattress again and Tiny shower. Still, WAY better than White Hart.
While this was a great way to see a lot, you do give up the freedom to explore more or cut short when you want. Don’t know what the answer is to be able to see Cornwall, because driving on those narrow roads wouldn’t be an option for us either!

Daniel is a very friendly and well organized tour guide. He knows the area very well and even gave us advice on other sights and activities to do in Bath.
During the tour he would give us enough time to take pictures and would give more in depth information on topics we were interested in.
He also gives fast and good replies to inquiries on his website.
I also recommend going to his website to discuss pick up and drop off areas since he's pretty flexible when it comes to that.

This one day tour was guided by Anderson Tours. One had almost 3hrs to comfortably wander around Glastonbury and see the ruins of its Abbey and visit some quirky shops. There was also ample time to grab lunch and/or have a quick light lunch at one of the cafes. Visiting Chalice Wells (about 10-15mins walk away) and Gardens is a must to feel the tranquility and harmony of its surroundings. Following this about 30-45mins away we headed towards Cheddar Gorge and saw lots of breath taking views. Here we were given about 2.5hrs. Visited the Gough Caves at extra cost. The caves were well-lit and easy to walk but not suitable if one has mobility difficulties especially walking up and down the stairs as there are so many stairs!! The views of these caves were spectacular. I would definitely recommend this tour and one should ensure to visit in the heart of Summer.

We really enjoyed travelling with this App. We discovered amazing places across Somerset that we wouldn't have found without it. The Scavenger Hunt is really good fun, and we'd recommend it for anyone wanting to get off the beaten path a little.

I would highly recommend this tour , you get to go to two amazing towns , and you get time to go to wells cathedral , and Glastonbury abbey , the cider tasting experiance was good . The last stop cheddar gorge was amasing , I went to the caves , which was an unforgettable experiance .i also had time to go to the shops there too. On the journey the guide talks about all the history of the places , and plays good music associated with the towns. Loved it,
