    Fun family day out.
Lots of monkeys, some surprisingly very big.
Feeding times each hour is good to watch.
The walk around the forest itself is also really nice.

Have lived nearby for almost 20 years and have never been, so decided to visit with my 11 and 8 year old and 10 year old neice.
The girls loved the spooky cauldron pot making and the woman running it was just wonderful.

Great exhibits and very informative. Every staff member we met was friendly and knowledgeable.

Sadly the cafe was not serving hot food so we can't comment on the cafe.

Overall spent a lovely couple of hours and will definitely visit again

The atmosphere in TG is lovely. It is quiet, relaxed and the only sounds were those of the birds. At this time of the year, the colours are fantastic and throughout there are useful notes and guidelines to add to the interest.
Paths are good and solid so no problems there. An amazing day out with some history thrown in around the ruins of the old house.
    Thoroughly recommended!

After an excellent day out for a relatives birthday I was overjoyed with the quality of service we received at your charming tearoom. Young Sam was so attentive to our every need and went out of his way to help the elderly members of our group. Aunty Edith was ever so surprised when young Sam sang happy Birthday to her, however she did say that when he sat in her lap it was a touch awkward.

We visited in March but the Chinese garden was having work carried out so closed. We popped in after visiting Portmerion Potteries and although the weather was awful we saw what we wanted to. The Chinese garden is splendid and the autumn coloured leaves made it look even better. Had a quick walk round the other area we had previously visited but due to the weather it was a whistle stop trip. Some Halloween decorations remained and were nice to see and picture.
Glad we made the effort to return as the Chinese garden is one of the highlights and will return when the weather is better and each season has something different.

Very welcoming. We clicked lucky as there was a Caribbean event on, with dancing and info on making and playing a steel drum. Museum itself was good with a cafe and toilets within

Had a really fun 3 hours with our 10 and 7 year olds. It was much less busy than I had anticipated (we went during half term) and also much cleaner than other reviews had lead us to believe. Queues were minimal so we were able to ride our favourites multiple times. We particularly enjoyed Nucleus and Cyclone.
Changing rooms were fine with plenty of lockers. Lifeguards and other staff were working really hard and were very patient and smiley even right at the end of the day.
We didn’t use the cafe but getting the wrist band refund and buying a couple of snacks at the exit were where we encountered the longest queues-more staff needed here.
    We will definitely return.

Always nice for a visit. Plenty of different shops that you don't get anywhere else. Lots of options for eating too with a decent walk around the gardens although I find the entry charge a bit on the steep side for what it is.

We really enjoyed our alpaca trek today. The animals were lovely to be around and so were the staff. Beth was an amazing host. I was really impressed with her knowledge, every question I asked came with a confident answer. I can’t wait to come back with my nephews and nieces! A great experience!

Parking is around the corner, up a hill- £3.50. Venue is as you would expect for an old theatre. Facilities for those with physical difficulties, eg lift. I wouldn’t choose the circle again! Steep steps and I saw one lady fall down, please be careful. Drinks available and snacks. Went to see a specific artist, first time there. Nice atmosphere.

A very interesting place. Particularly the way in which the building has been extended over time. The staff whilst offering to help with queries were unable to answer ours. The tearoom is more of a drink and biscuits but fine if that is all that you want. The gardens are well looked after with the medicinal garden being an interesting feature. Behind is the Whitfield Valley Nature reserve with the lake coming close to the carpark.

We enjoyed a lovely walk round the lake and we enjoyed a spot of lunch too. Picked a nice day to visit, a sunny day in September.

We really enjoyed our visit which was nostalgic. It’s a park I had visited frequently growing up. The paths made access easy and there was lots to see - ducks, geese, herons, trees and shrubs. Café and staff - delightful.

This was brilliant. Really interesting and surprising how many items Dudson’s make that you will know. I used sat nav and it took me to the factory so better to use the postcode in the sat nav. Shame the coffee shop was closed but the there’s lots of gems to see in the museum, which is inside a bottle oven. Really quirky and interesting. Car park right next door, pay and display.

Pretty canal for a nice walk. Easily accessible by bus from Stoke. Lots of good pubs, good moorings for boaters and interesting things to visit nearby like the Flint Mill at Cheddleton and the Churnet Valley Railway.
